Players who are trying to move around in Dune: Awakening might have already know about Suspensor Belts, one of the Utility-Tools in the game that allows players to jump higher and fall safely from even the highest places. The Emperor Wings are one of the Unique Suspensor Belts players can get in the game, but they might be difficult to spot.
Dune: Awakening - Best Early Gear
Here are the best early items you need to get in Dune: Awakening to make your adventure much more enjoyable.
In this guide, players will learn how to get these unique suspensor belts in all of their variants, and the differences between regular Suspensor Belts and the Emperor Wings.
Where To Get Emperor Wings In Dune: Awakening
To get the Emperor Wings in Dune: Awakening, players will need to visit the Imperial Research Station Nº2 in Hagga Basin South and open the chest at the end of this PoI. They will obtain the schematic for the Emperor Wings Mk. 1, which is the Tier 1 variant of this Unique Suspensor Belt.
To craft this Utility-Tool, players will need Spice-Infused Copper Dust, and players might already be thinking: Is it really that necessary to craft it? The answer is simple: Yes. By rule of thumb, all Unique variants of the gear found in the game have special affixes or perks. In the case of the Emperor Wings, it drains much less energy than the regular suspensor belts, and preserves momentum even more.
How to Get a Sandbike in Dune Awakening
Cruise through the deserts of Arrakis with your very own Sandbike in Dune: Awakening.
Momentum is important, since when the player character catches speed and jump, the maximum speed and jump height can be preserved by using the suspension belt, and that means: more distance covered with a jump. For example, players can use Bindu Sprint (from the Bene Gesserit skills) and maximize its effects, then jump and activate this Suspensor Belt to cover a larger distance with a single jump. So, it is a good idea to create the Emperor Wings Mk. 1, which is far superior to the Tier 2 Suspensor Belt (blue quality).
The use of Suspensor Belts in the Open Sands will attract a Sandworm to the player's location in no time. Avoid using it while crossing the sand or moving around while gathering Flour Sand. The same applies to Holzman Shield generators.
Where To Find The Higher Tier Emperor Wing Schematics
To find the Higher Tiers of the Emperor Wings suspensor belt (Mk. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) players need to farm schematics in the higher-tier areas of the game. Since the loot contained in special chests at the end of certain POIs is randomized, players might not get the recipe they are looking for, so they will have to keep trying to get the Emperor Wing schematics.
Here is a list of possible PoIs to farm if players want to get the Emperor Wings higher-tier schematics:
- Ghanima Cavern (northwest of Anvil Trading Post): Drops Emperor Wings Mk. 2.
- Riftrun Passage (Hagga Rifth, below the Wreck of the Kytheria): Drops Emperor Wings Mk. 3
- Southern Comms (Southwest from Pinnacle Station): Drops Emperor Wings Mk. 4
- Imperial Testing Station Nº60 (Western Shield Wall): Drops Emperor Wings Mk. 5
- Deep Desert (Various PoIs) PvE Zone: Drops Emperor Wings Mk. 6
If players are in need to guide themselves, there's a full map of Arrakis right here. And remember, the loot from Schematic Chests refreshes every 45 minutes, so check regularly and create an efficient farming route to unlock all recipes faster.
