Choam Salvage Rights is the first global event for Dune Awakening, which is currently running till the major update launches on September 10th. The event has changed the landscape of Hagga Basin, featuring mounted turrets on cliffs and land that are shooting down cargo ships in the sky. These cargo ships can be salvaged to earn CHOAM cargo, which can later be used to purchase exclusive event rewards from the event vendor. How to Start CHOAM Salvage Rights Event Quests in Dune Awakening

Once players log into Dune Awakening, they won't get any explicit notification about the event. To start the CHOAM Salvage Rights event, players will need to travel to the Anvil Tradepost in the Eastern Vermillius Gap. After reaching the Tradepost, you'll spot a new NPC beside the contracts board who's actually the new event vendor (CHOAM Representative).

The vendor will offer different items in exchange for CHOAM Cargo, which can be acquired by salvaging the newly added fallen ships. There are also three new quests (contracts) that players can acquire from this NPC by selecting the "What sort of work do you have for me" dialog option. This will allow you to accept multiple contracts and start the said quests.

Here's a list of all the quests (contracts) part of the CHOAM Salvage Rights event in Dune Awakening.

Retrieve CHOAM Cargo: Loot CHOAM Cargo from chests inside either the cargo freighters falling from the sky, or one of the enemy gun emplacements.
Sabotage Kirab Emplacements: The map is filled with gun emplacements/turrets shooting up in the sky. These can be taken down by eliminating Kirab enemies surrounding them, and removing their plates with a Cutteray to deactivate them.
Make Them Pay: Kill 25 Kirab enemies, which can be found within the Western and Eastern Vermillius Gap regions, or near the newly added gun emplacements.
