How to Unlock the Trooper Skill Tree In Dune Awakening

To unlock the Trooper Skill Tree in Dune: Awakening, players must complete the Proving Grounds quest. To trigger the quest, travel to Griffin’s Reach Tradepost, located in the middle of the Hagga Basin South map. There, players can find Ghavouri standing in the corner inside the Tradepost. After initiating a conversation with him, Ghavouri will ask the character to track and take down some people as the price for his training. When he says that, the Proving Grounds quest will appear, and players will have a chance to accept or deny the quest.

Proving Grounds Quest Guide In Dune Awakening

The first objective is to Kill Aatu Golven in Kaleff’s Stand, and the Contract location appears on the far east of the Hagga Basin South map. It’s a long trip, so it’s better to wait until you get a Sandbike in Dune: Awakening. Once players reach the cave, there’s only one enemy to take down with no extra HP or special abilities. After dealing with Aatu Golven, a new Contract will appear. The new target is to Kill Kirsi Tol in Shamal Tunnel, and their location on the map is further to the east of the first objective. Dealing with Kirsi Tol will also start a third Contract, which is to Kill Cardanus Ulun in Edgeway Cavern.

Players can find Cardanus Ulun south of Kirsi Tol’s location. There, the cave is bigger, and it has multiple enemies to deal with, so make sure to come prepared.

Proving Grounds Contracts in Dune Awakening

Finally, when finishing all three Contracts, the objective will change to report back to Ghavouri at Griffin’s Reach. Simply, go back to the Griffin’s Reach Tradepost to meet Ghavouri again, and that will complete the Proving Grounds quest Dune: Awakening.
