The Sixth Trial of Aql will have players scouring the edge of Dune: Awakening's map in hopes of finding yet another trace of the Fremen in Hagga Basin. This part of the questline involves exploring a late-game area of the map, though given the simplicity of its actual objectives, players can easily rush toward the trial's location even if they're underprepared.
Much like the other Trials of Aql, this one is all about finding a hidden Fremen altar. However, Sixth Trial is more about braving the desert and going the distance — there won't be any Spice at the end of the tunnel this time, but still, if you want to finish this questline, you'll need to tuck all the trials under your belt.

Sixth Trial of Aql Location in Dune: Awakening
The Sixth Trial of Aql can be found in the northeastern-most edge of Jabal Eifrit Al-sharq, which is just past the Hagga Rift. Once you reach the map marker shown above, you'll be greeted by a moisture-sealed entrance leading to a familiar series of tunnels, much like the ones from the previous trials.
This POI is called Devil's Eye Cavern, and like other Moisture Sealed Caves, this one has little chests that have a high chance of containing EMF Generators and Micro-sandwich Fibers. Cut open the moisture seal at the entrance with your blade, then proceed through the linear hall all the way to the end.
The Sixth Trial of Aql is similar to the third one, in the sense that there really isn't an altar waiting for you at the end. However, there will be gas traps in the tunnels — if you wander too close to one, it'll detonate and release a poison gas cloud that will go through your shield and damage your health directly.
You can brute force your way through the poison mines by sprinting through them before they can detonate, but if you have no poison resistance or if the clouds deal too much damage for you to bear, you can use a Static Compactor to remove the poison gas. Just shoot the Compactor at any spot in the ground below a poison cloud.
Once you reach the end of the trial, you'll find a ruined altar and a message left by Fremen scholar lamenting the destruction of the shrine. You won't get any rewards after this little incursion, but once you interact with the recording, the Seventh Trial of Aql will automatically begin.
You can read the Journal entries for each of the trials to find a rough description of their locations. Also, you'll know if a cave has a Trial of Aql shrine in it if its map icon is purple instead of orange.
