Dungeonborne offers players eight different classes to choose from when starting up the game. These classes also come with specific races, being humans, undead, and elves.

Players are unable to play any race under any class, and instead have to pick one of the eight options, with the character having a customizable appearance. Each race has its own unique benefit, adding further weight to the class you choose. Picking your class is a major decision that some players may want to know if it is permanent; here's how to change your class in Dungeonborne.

How To Create A New Character & Change Classes In Dungeonborne

Once a character is made and a class is determined, there is no way to change that class. That being said, players can create new characters and switch between them easily. At the main camp, look along the bottom left corner of the screen to the Character List option, hotkeyed to F1. This will open up your character list, with all created characters appearing on the right side of the screen.

To make a new character, simply select an open slot in the list below your existing character(s) to open up the character creation menu. You will need a new name, but you'll have complete freedom to create a new character with a new class. There are more than enough character slots for you to make a character of each class and more, giving players complete freedom to try every class and switch between them whenever they want, like heirloom weapons.

How To Switch Characters In Dungeonborne

After a new character has been created, simply hover over them in the character list and select them. Press the, "Enter Lobby" button along the bottom right corner of the screen to return to your camp as that new character. Your old character's inventory will still be their own, as all character has their own inventory but share the stash and currencies.

Some gear can only be used by specific classes, with the Stash letting you trade items and gear between characters. This can also be used to quickly upgrade new characters with better gear to make them a good bit stronger before a first run. Gold and Moonstones are tied to your account, not characters, meaning they are shared across the board without needing to move them through the stash.
