When a character dies in Dungeonborne, everything in their inventory is dropped on the ground to either be lost or looted by another player or ally. The main goal of each round is to find loot in the dungeon and extract it to either sell it or use it another day.
For those just getting started, it can be difficult to constantly extract due to the difficulty curve of the game and the weak gear you get each time you respawn. While new gear and consumables can be purchased, gold doesn't come easily, even in a dungeon. Here are some easy methods to get gold early into Dungeonborne.
How To Craft Heirlooms In Dungeonborne
Heirlooms are an excellent way to gain a battle advantage in Dungeonborne, but crafting and acquiring them will require a couple of steps to perform.
How To Make Gold Early In Dungeonborne
The most important thing players can do early into Dungeonborne is complete quests with any class. Along the top right of the camp menu will be the quests menu which will have three options for players to choose from:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Seasonal
The reset timer for daily and weekly quests can be seen along the bottom of each individual menu, while seasonal quests don't have a clear countdown, and are instead determined by the developers and when a season ends. All quests don't need to be completed in a single round and can be accomplished at whatever pace the player sets. Daily quests also give players Cloudy Life Essence, which is needed to craft healing potions, which can further help players survive in a dungeon.
The other method for making gold is by selling gear and items which will require you to extract after finding them in a dungeon. There's also a random chance that treasure goblins will come out of a portal in the ground and try to flee. They will drop very rare items that sell for a high price and will drop even more if you can defeat them.
Dungeonborne: How To Change Appearance
Dungeonborne lets players redo their character's appearance later on if you want to change up how they look; here's how to do it.
How To Properly Sell Items In Dungeonborne
All items aside from those your character spawns with can be sold at the merchant. This is the best method for rare artifacts found in dungeons, but gear should be sold in a different way. Early-game uncommon gear doesn't offer the biggest difference in stats, and it's often best to sell new gear and stick with the basics for the first few levels to focus on saving gold.
Instead of using the merchant, use the Trade option to sell your gear to other players for a higher price. Gear won't always sell, and sometimes prices will be higher at the merchant, and that option will always be there. Always try to list a gear piece on the market for at least a day to see if you can sell it for a better price before relying on the merchant. Players willing to spend a few real-world dollars can also unlock the Auction option to try and get even more out of gear, but this tends to work better on higher-rarity gear than what is found early on.
