Your gear plays a large role in surviving the myriad of monsters, traps, and other players in Dungeoneborne. While some classes are easy to play, they will not get you far without proper weapons and armor. You must grind dungeon after dungeon to extract as much loot as possible, which can then be salvaged for crafting materials. However, some items, such as legendary heirlooms, can only be unlocked by finding their key parts or fragments. The Moon Pendant is one of three available heirlooms, and is a vital component in unlocking the Divine Sword in Dungeoneborne. Here is how you can get hold of it.

How to Get the Moon Pendant Fragment in Dungeonborne

Dungeonborne - Moon Pendant Camp Sighting
The moon pendant can only be obtained when the moon is full on the camp screen in Dungeonborne.

The Moon Pendant is the easiest legendary heirloom fragment to get in Dungeonborne. You need to head to the Training Room when there is a full moon on the camp menu as shown in the screenshot above. Then make your way to the shrine inside the Training Room. If the opening above you forms an eye with the full moon in its center, you will be able to interact with the altar. The Moon Pendant fragment will appear once you are finished praying.

Pray at the Training Room altar during a full moon to get the Moon Pendant in Dungeonborne.

Something important to note is that the moon goes through five phases over time, and you can only get a full moon once per day. Each moon phase lasts roughly 6 hours, but the camp screen does not change in real time. You must exit and log back into Dungeonborne to get the updated moon cycle. Hence, keep checking back for the Moon Pendant fragment.

Once you have obtained the Moon Pendant fragment in Dungeonborne, press Escape to return to the campsite. Select the Heirloom tab at the top of the screen and head into the accessories (ring icon) window. Cycle through the heirlooms until you come across the legendary Moon Pendant necklace, and then click on Unlock to consume the Moon Pendant fragment in your inventory. This is a one-time unlock. You do not need to return to the Training Room to obtain another Moon Pendant fragment after death.

Each legendary Moon Pendant necklace costs 1 Mithril Token and 2 Star Fragments to craft. In addition to the base stats, you can choose three enchantments (Attack, Defence, and Set Bonus) to boost your stats, depending on your character. Building a Rogue, for example, would net a lot more value by adding a critical-chance enchantment to do massive damage with a backstab. You will, however, need to farm a lot of Ilmenite Ore and Refined Steel Ore by dismantling uncommon and magic gear.
