New Blood Interactive has announced that four of its games will be available on the Xbox Series X/S and ROG Xbox Ally soon, including Dusk. Dusk is known as one of the best first-person shooters of the 2010s, and this will be an excellent opportunity for Xbox owners to try it.
Founded in 2014, New Blood Interactive is a publisher focused on horror games and shooters. Over the years, they have released some highly popular titles, such as Dusk in 2018, Amid Evil in 2019, and more.

New Blood Interactive recently confirmed that Dusk, Amid Evil, Blood West, and Faith: The Unholy Trinity will come to Xbox Series X/S and ROG Xbox Ally “soon.” While all of these games have fairly positive reviews, Dusk is the clear outlier. With an average critic score of 89 on OpenCritic, Dusk is considered one of the best FPS of the last decade due to its fast-paced gameplay and clever Doom-inspired level design. The game was incredibly influential, becoming a prominent name in the growing boomer shooter scene.

FPS fans may also be interested in Amid Evil and Blood West, as the first is a dark-fantasy themed boomer shooter inspired by games such as Heretic and Hexen, while the latter mixes eldritch horror, Westerns, and stealth. The popular Faith: The Unholy Trinity is a story-focused horror adventure title in which gamers play as a young priest struggling against demons and cultists. These titles will be available at up to 120 FPS on Xbox, will be optimized for handheld, and will use ray tracing.
This marks a fairly profound shift for New Blood Interactive, as essentially every game from the publisher is available on PC, and some are also playable on the Nintendo Switch or PlayStation, but only Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition has had an Xbox release so far. This will not be the first port of Dusk, though. Back in 2021, the game was launched for the Nintendo Switch, and in 2023, Dusk was released for the PlayStation 4.
According to New Blood Interactive, this is just the “first wave” of games to be released on the Xbox. While the titles announced represent some of the best games published by New Blood Interactive, there are still some titles that could be released on Microsoft’s platform. Ultrakill and Gloomwood, for example, are fairly popular and could also be a great fit for FPS fans eager to play something new.
