In Dying Light: The Beast, there are a ton of secrets and loot to grab, and most of them are well hidden, like the Treasure Map in D3, which has some cryptic indications that can confuse more than one expert explorer. Treasure Maps are part of the Cabinet of Curiosities Achievement/Trophy.
But worry not, since this guide pinpoints the exact location for the Treasure Map D3 in Castor Woods, and will also offer the solution to the safe combination located inside the abandoned attic. How To Find D3 Treasure Map in Dying Light The Beast
To find the Treasure Map D3 in Dying Light: The Beast, players need to travel to the Dark Zone Point of Interest named Hardware Store, located on the northeastern side of the Old Town area. If players manage to identify the Railway Station, then they are quite close to pinpointing the exact location. Climbing to a high spot and using binoculars can greatly help locate this particular Dark Zone, but once players do, they should head to this area.
- Open the Main Menu.
- Next, open the Collections Tab.
- Scroll down to Treasure Hunts.
- Now find the D3 Treasure Map and open it.
The Map reads as follows: "It's possible to reach the blocked tenement house from the terrace of the hardware store. There could be plenty of loot there. A." Though the indications seem clear, it can be confusing since there's actually no direct way to reach this location from the terrace of the Hardware Store.
Players can find this spot by climbing to the roof of the Hardware Store, then facing the opposite side of the street and crossing there. Then, climb on the building that has a small gap with a terrace and a couch on it. Look for a wooden plank blocking the entrance to a door. Next, press the action button to move the plank away and pick the lock on the door.
Once inside, head to the small room/kitchen, and look around for a safe. The password for this safe can be found if players look around for a small piece of paper that speaks about calling a certain number at a specific hour (12:25:55) because it's not 'SAFE.' This quite obvious clue indicates that the safe combination is actually 12 - 25 - 55. Now go back and input the correct password to open the safe.
Inside, players will find a Military Medkit (which is useful when dealing with dangerous infected and bosses) and 5 Legendary Regeneration Boosters, a consumable that greatly enhances Kyle Crane's natural regeneration, and once it's used, it will continuously heal him for a certain duration (300 seconds). Save these consumables for the hardest encounters in the late game, though these can also be crafted using Poppy and other rare resources, and then upgraded into their Legendary Versions using Expert Manual Pages.
Pay attention to every location that contains a Safe or Special Items, such as Legendary Weapons. These respawn every two days, like other PoIs.
