Scavenging for crafting materials is a huge part of Dying Light: The Beast, and you'll need a ton of Rags to stock up on healing supplies and throwables like molotovs. While Rags are common in Dying Light: The Beast, it's easy to run out since they're required for so many crafting recipes.
Thankfully, you can find Rags just about anywhere in Dying Light: The Beast. Some Dark Zones throughout Castor Woods are specifically meant for farming Rags, but you can also get them elsewhere if you're thorough enough when looting. Here's where you can find Rags in Dying Light: The Beast.
Where to Find Scraps and Blades in Dying Light The Beast
Scraps and Blades are two common resources required to repair weapons in Dying Light: The Beast. Here's where to find them.
Best Rag Locations in Dying Light: The Beast
Rags can be found everywhere in Dying Light: The Beast. You can find them in every Dark Zone if you loot backpacks, suitcases, and containers inside, and you can also loot them from the bodies of slain zombies or bandits. They're required for a bunch of crafting recipes, so the game is fairly generous with them.
The best place to get Rags in Dying Light: The Beast is the Vanity Store Dark Zone in the Old Town region. You'll reach this area after completing the first few introductory quests at the start of Dying Light: The Beast. You can head there as soon as you're set loose in Castor Woods. Just head north of the town hall.
You can tell if a Dark Zone is a good source of Rags by hovering over its icon on the map. If you see an icon that looks like white sheets, then you'll find a bunch of Rags inside that Dark Zone. Again, Rags are so common that you'll find them everywhere, even if they're not specifically listed as possible loot.
As long as you search the bodies of zombies and bandits that you kill, you shouldn't have any problems maintaining your Rag supplies in Dying Light: The Beast. If you need some Rags in a pinch, you can buy them from vendors throughout Castor Woods. Every major settlement has a resource vendor that also sells weapons and equipment if you have the cash, and that includes the town hall at the heart of the Old Town region.
Dark Zones can be dangerous in the early stages of Dying Light: The Beast, so make sure you're well-equipped before sneaking in. Bring some of the best early game weapons to defend yourself with in case of a zombie attack.
