It's always good to have a tall player in the team, whether in the defense or the attack, to have a higher chance of winning aerial battles and even score with headers. That being said, tall players in EA Sports FC 25 are usually slow, which makes using them alone in the offense a big gamble. This lack of pace also prevents them from intercepting faster opponent strikers in time.
EA FC 25: 23 Fastest Players, Ranked
Faster players could help a lot with succeeding in counter-attacks.
The best way to benefit from tall players is to pair them with a faster player, whether it's the heart of defense or the edge of attack. This will allow players to still have the upper hand against speedy attackers or defenders of the opposing team.
Updated on September 6, 2025, by Mark Sammut: EA Sports FC 25 is reaching the end of its life by this point, as its successor is right around the corner. Still, last year's edition will not simply fade into history straight away, and it will continue to be played during the upcoming months. Therefore, we added three more of the tallest players in the game.
Goalkeepers have been excluded from this list. Most of the tallest players in EA Sports FC 25 are goalkeepers, but that is not an interesting position to factor in height, as most goalkeepers are tall enough. Also, their listed overall rating is based on their standard card in Ultimate Team. Their rating may vary in other modes.
23 Dan Burn
Height: 6'6" (198cm)
- Position: CB
- Nationality: England
- Team: Newcastle United
- Overall: 78
Playing for Newcastle United, Dan Burn is a pretty good CB option for players creating a Premier League-based Ultimate Team on a budget. He is relatively affordable and has decent stats, although he is held back by a low pace. Admittedly, this flaw does make him vulnerable against speedy opponents, as both his Acceleration and Sprint Speed are under 50. If close to the ball, Burn is a well-rounded defender, offering both reasonable technique and high physical stats.
Now, Dan Burn also has a TOTS Honourable Mentions card that is, naturally, far more impressive than his base version. However, this card is pretty much impossible to get nowadays, so you will have to use his decent standard version.
22 Milan Đurić
Height: 6'6" (198cm)
- Position: ST
- Nationality: Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Team: Monza/Parma
- Overall: 70
Milan Đurić is not extremely popular by any means, as Serie A silver teams are hardly common when compared to Premier League or La Liga ones. Beyond that, his Bosnia and Herzegovina nationality also limits his viability, which is a shame, as he is a pretty solid option within his role.
While not great for long-distance shots, Milan Đurić can be a deadly finisher within short range, and he makes good use of his height with great Heading Accuracy and physical stats. As a target man, he is a very good option. Also, if you are looking for a striker to evolve, Milan Đurić becomes an absolute unit after a few evolutions, so that is also something to consider. If you are building a budget Serie A team and want a substitute striker, this Monza player should get the job done.
21 Jake Cooper
Height: 6'6" (199cm)
- Position: CB
- Nationality: England
- Team: Millwall
- Overall: 73
Tall center-backs are hardly difficult to come by in EA Sports FC 25, as this position benefits the most from the extra height (besides GKs). However, these CBs tend not to be risky options in Ultimate Team since they are often slow, making them susceptible to foot races against fast strikers. Millwall's Jake Cooper fares a bit better than most of his peers, with his Acceleration and Sprint Speed both being 51. That is by no means great, but he is slightly better than other skyscraper CBs.
Furthermore, Cooper has consistent Defending and Physical stats, with all of them being above 70. While he doesn't offer much beyond a dependable wall at the back, he is a respectable option for silver teams focusing on English players or Championship teams.
20 Jannik Vestergaard
Height: 6'6" (199cm)
- Position: CB
- Nationality: Denmark
- Team: Leicester City
- Overall: 76
Jannik Vestergaard is a superb player for any growing squad in the Ultimate Team, especially for those who want great air clear without breaking the bank. Vestergaard delivers decent defensive stats, but it's the physical attributes where he shines.
With Strength of 91 and Aggression of 87, Vestergaard can win the ball easily in 1v1 situations if he and the opponent player are battling over it. However, this is only true if he is quite close to the ball, because with 32, he cannot chase after the ball, no matter how slow the opponent is. That's why players must use Vestergaard at the heart of the defense, without forcing him to run around too much.
19 Omar Sowunmi
Height: 6'6" (199cm)
- Position: CB
- Nationality: England
- Team: Bromley FC
- Overall: 60
An overall of 60 is just a red flag that even new Ultimate Team players should not consider. However, it's all about height, and if someone is really desperate to get a tall defender, Omar Sowunmi could be an economic option very early in the game, and then he should be considered for filling the SBC slots.
The problem with Sowumni is that his stats are mostly mediocre or even worse. Although he has a 77-rated physics, all the attributes in this category are mediocre, with only 91-rated Strength keeping the average high. So, it's only height and strength after all, and that doesn't seem convincing enough.
18 Leonardo Miramar
Height: 6'7" (200cm)
- Position: ST
- Nationality: Portugal
- Team: Radomiak Radom or Rakow
- Overall: 66
The Portuguese attacker shares some good statistics to actually use his tall height for scoring. Jumping, Heading Accuracy, and Strength are all some great attributes of Leonardo Miramar, which make him a decent starter squad member for turning crosses into goals.
However, just like most other tall players, Miramar is quite slow. So, it's important that players count on Miramar as a target attacker without expecting him to run behind the opponent's defensive line. He can be a useful player on corners or set-pieces, but it's best to pair him with an agile attacker.
17 Tomas Chory
Height: 6'7" (200cm)
- Position: ST
- Nationality: Czech Republic
- Team: Slavia Praha
- Overall: 74
The 30-year-old Czech striker is one of the best early-game players in Ultimate Team for anyone who is looking for a solid goal scorer who can benefit from crosses. Chory comes with magnificent attributes for scoring off headers. He has a Jumping of 88, Strength of 95, and Heading Accuracy of 88. Such high stats are usually expected from top-notch player, but Chory sacrifices a lot to become a solid target striker.
The player might not be fast enough to be useful in ground-based attacks, but he can surely be real threat for the opponent when they give away a set-piece or a corner kick. Other notable stats of Chory are Ball Control and Reactions. Of course, not as good as heading skills, but still decent for a Silver-based player. Chory also comes with Aerial playstyle, which is another plus for him.
16 Eghosa Bello
Height: 6'7" (200cm)
- Position: ST
- Nationality: Nigeria
- Team: Granada CF
- Overall: 61
African players are usually expected to be fast, and Eghosa Bello also inherits this valuable skill, though his height holds him back a little bit. That being said, he's still the fastest player so far on the list, which is a big plus for a 61-rated attacker.
What makes Bello a tough choice to consider is the fact that he can't really use his height that much. Having a Heading Accuracy of 70 and a Jumping of 75 is still acceptable, but some players are shorter than Bello, yet they share much better stats for scoring off headers.
15 Conor Keeley
Height: 6'7" (200cm)
- Position: CB
- Nationality: Ireland
- Team: Drogheda United/St. Pats
- Overall: 59
Conor Keeley is probably one of the defenders that a player may receive with their starter pack or Bronze Pack rewards. The player doesn't really have any significant strength aside from his tall height, which grants him a decent Physical score.
The worst thing about Keeley is that he doesn't really benefit from his height, as both Heading Accuracy and Jumping stats are mediocre. The player can still be considered for an early-game squad, but there are surely many better replacements down the line.
14 Sasa Kalajdžić
Height: 6'7" (200cm)
- Position: ST
- Nationality: Austria
- Team: Wolves
- Overall: 77
Kalajdžić is one of those promising strikers that every growing team could have benefited from at some point. While the stats are not good enough for a late-game squad, Kalajdžić is one of the rare players who actually knows how to use his height.
The player comes with an impressive Heading Accuracy of 87, which makes him quite dangerous in the offensive third if he is fed with accurate crosses. Similar to most tall players, Kalajdžić has an awful rating for pace, which is why it is recommended to use him in a dual-striker formation.
