EA has confirmed that EA Sports FC Empires will be shutting down on November 30. EA has shut down quite a few of its games already in 2025, with the company's mobile gaming efforts hit especially hard.
Back in January, EA shut down eight of its mobile games. The bloodbath started when The Simpsons: Tapped Out was shut down on January 24, a decision that was widely criticized and greatly upset fans who had been playing the game for years. Then, on January 29, seven more EA mobile games were shut down. On that day, fans had to say goodbye to Blood & Glory Immortals, Contract Killer: Sniper, Deer Hunter Classic, Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores, Eternity Warriors 4, Frontline Commando 2, and Frontline Commando: D-Day. On March 13, yet another EA mobile game was shut down in the form of EA Sports UFC Mobile 2. Now EA has confirmed that another one of its mobile games is on the chopping block.
