Customization plays an important role in most modern sports sim games, but none more so than in EA Sports College Football 25. Although the game does have an impressive 134 schools by default, there are still thousands that are missing, which is where the game's Team Builder comes into play. With it, players can create their own custom teams based on schools that are absent, allowing all college footballers to feel as though they're in the game.
College Football 25: How to Transfer Road to Glory Players to Madden 25
Those looking to get a headstart in Madden 25 can export their Road to Glory players after they retire from college football. Here's a guide to help.
It had initially seemed as though Team Builder may not be ready in time for the game's full release, but that didn't end up being the case. As such, EA Sports College Football 25 players will be able to get started using Team Builder right from the get-go, although some may need a little help figuring out how it all works. To help with this, the following guide explains not only how to use Team Builder, but also how to download custom teams and play with them in-game.
How to Use Team Builder in College Football 25
In order to start using Team Builder, College Football 25 players will need to navigate to the Team Builder webpage and then login to their EA account. Upon doing so, they'll be able to enter the creation suite, where they'll need to decide upon their team's brand, uniforms, stadium, and roster. They'll be able to upload up to ten custom images to help customize their team, which should be more than enough for most players. Once they have everything the way they want it, players can click the submit button in the black bar at the top of the page, at which point, their team will be saved and ready to download in-game.
Those looking for a more in-depth look at Team Builder should consider checking out EA's Team Builder deep dive video, which goes over a few of the basics.
How to Download a Team Builder Team in College Football 25
Once players have finished creating their team in Team Builder, the next step is to download it in College Football 25. To do so, they'll need to connect to the EA servers by pressing either the R2 (PlayStation) or RT (Xbox) button and then pay a visit to the Create and Share menu. From here, they should make their way to the Download Center and then use either R1 (PlayStation) or LB (Xbox) to navigate to the My Sharings tab, where they should find their custom schools as well as any playbooks or custom sliders they've uploaded. It's then just a simple matter of downloading their custom team, after which, it will be available for selection in-game.
Those having trouble finding their custom team can use the left and right triggers on the team selection screen to filter by Team Builder teams.
