  • Unfortunately, some players have faced stability issues with EA Sports College Football 25's servers during early access.
  • Despite some initial issues, EA Sports College Football 25 has been a massive success with over 700,000 players online already.

Electronic Arts has promised to fix Stanford University’s outdated logo in EA Sports College Football 25 soon. Earlier this week, EA Sports College Football 25 was released in early access for gamers who purchased the Deluxe Edition or the MVP Bundle. While it had a pretty popular launch, the game is also showing several flaws.

EA Sports College Football 25 will mark the first game in the NCAA Football franchise to be released in 11 years when it’s fully released on July 19. A new entry in the franchise was being planned by EA for years, but often delayed due to licensing problems. Unfortunately, some gamers discovered that Stanford University’s logo was wrong soon after the game became available during early access. Instead of showing the current logo, which has been the official one since 2015, and has a white tree behind a red capital S, College Football 25 uses a logo with a red tree behind a white capital S.

EA Sports College Football 25 Burning Questions

The following guide will aim to answer all of the most frequently asked questions about EA Sports College Football 25.

Now, EA has officially acknowledged that “certain schools” such as Stanford, Western Michigan, and Jacksonville State have “outdated logos.” According to SFGate, EA will fix the problem with the first round of patches in around two weeks. Weirdly, the correct logo does appear in the game, being currently used on helmets and at the center of the field, but it’s still wrong on the scoreboard of the Stanford University stadium.

This is not the only issue that College Football 25 players have faced since the game's early access started. Soon after gamers started to play, EA Sports College Football 25’s servers experienced stability issues, for example.

Also, several gamers were unable to access Dynasty Mode in College Football 25 due to a problem in which the game would display “Lorem Ipsum” placeholders instead of allowing people to join the mode. While some gamers found a workaround by playing offline, others could not fix the problem.

EA Sports College Football 25 Has Issues After Early Access Release, But It's Still a Huge Hit

While EA Sports College Football 25 is having quite a few issues during its early access release, it’s safe to say that the game is already massively successful. For instance, over 700,000 people played College Football 25 online soon after early access started, a surprisingly high number considering that most players will still need to wait until July 19 to gain access to the title. Hopefully, EA will solve all of these issues soon, and gamers will have a better experience with one of the best sports games to come out recently.
