The Roshn Saudi League has had a big improvement for EA Sports FC 24, with several big players now making the league their home. Cristiano Ronaldo set the trend in January of last year, moving to Al Nassr from Premier League side Manchester United. Big names such as Neymar Jr., Karim Benzema and Ngolo Kante have followed suit.

This means that for the first time in the history of the franchise, players can make a decent team using players from the Saudi League. Four options for such teams are recommenced here. The midfield is where this team shines. Because Seko Fofana can only play CM, gamers will be forced to play without two CDMs if they want to use him. With the correct roles assigned, he can operate as a holding midfielder anyway. Franck Kessie is a fantastic all-around midfielder who can cause damage at either end of the pitch. On the wings are Malcom and Michael, who are superb dribblers, very quick, and can also get goals in this side.

In the CF position is Anderson Talisca's base card, who can comfortably play as a striker with amazing finishing and shooting attributes. Up front is the former Liverpool man, Roberto Firmino. There aren't a lot of great strikers for this price range, so Firmino can play there. He can dribble his way into the area and find the back of the net comfortably.

Due to the lack of defensive options, gamers may be forced to switch to a 3 at the back formation. The 3-5-2 is recommended here to get the best out of the talent on show.

The best goalkeeper in the league is Yassine Bounou. The Moroccan will cost gamers 7,500 coins, but it will be worth it to have that solidarity in between the sticks. The back three are, again, the best options in Saudi Arabia. Aymeric Laporte is on the left; he can play the ball on his stronger left foot and play it down the left-hand side comfortably. Kalidou Koulibaly is a rock in the middle of the three; he's tall and can head anything that comes into the area. On the right is Roger Ibanez, who is very quick with 85 pace. Trailblazers Jordan Henderson is a steal for around 11,750 coins in the midfield. He has great stamina, passing, and defensive stats. Partnering with the equally enigmatic Ngolo Kante in the center of the park will be a match made in heaven. Riyad Mahrez is on the right. He will play much better as a RW, but due to the lack of options, he will have to fill in there. He can put in great palls and also come inside on his stronger left foot and get away shots. Yannick Carrasco is much more comfortable playing as an LM in this system, as he has done so on many occasions in real life. Anderson Talisca can get an improvement playing as a CAM, as gamers can opt for his In-Form version at the modest price of 14,000 coins.

Upfront, there are no surprises as Cristiano Ronaldo finds his way into this team. For the first time in the history of the franchise, Ronaldo is affordable for virtually every player, costing only 14,750 coins. The former Real Madrid man may not have the same stats as he once did, but he still will be a great goalscorer in Ultimate Team. With him is Sadio Mane, who doesn't have the same blistering pace that he once had. But at 85 he is still quick, can get in behind, and finishes well with his 83 shooting.

The midfield gets an improvement with In-Form Ngolo Kante coming into the midfield. With better stats across the board, he will patrol the midfield expertly and break up attacks before the defense has to lift a finger. Riyad Mahrex also gets an upgrade with his Trailblazers item. With +3 pace and shooting, he is a much better option and will not break the bank at 21,750 coins. On the left is a rare Saudi Arabian player, the TOTW version of Salem Dawsari. He is quick and direct, and will be a great option to have on the left playing in balls to the striker duo.

Karim Benzema made the move to Al-Ittihad and thus made his way into the side, costing the player 52,500 coins. He will be the main man in this team. Capable of scoring all different types of goals, he is pretty much the perfect striker. Partnering him up front is a HEROES card: it's Sami Al-Jaber for a very respectable 37,000 coins. He is quick and a superb finisher inside the box. He will do the running that Benzema cannot do on this side.

This team is pricey due to the LM and the RM options. On the right is HEROES Saeed Al-Owairan, who will cost a staggering 545,000 coins. Looking at his stats, it is plain to see why he costs so much. With a blistering 94 pace, he's a deadly striker and can beat his opponent with ease. Neymar is always a go-to player in the LW position on Ultimate Team, and in EA Sports FC 24 this is no exception. Probably the best dribbler in the game, complete with his 5-star skills and weak foot, he will cost 250,000 coins, but he will be worth every penny.

In-Form Anderson Talisca and HEROES Sami-Jaber keep their places in the high-budget version due to lack of options. Finally, coming in for a massive 1,019,000 coins is the Trailblazers Cristiano Ronaldo. With this card, CR7 is rolling back the years. The card offers improvement in pace, which is needed for Ronaldo, but his 90 shooting is where the Portuguese player shines. Finding the back of the net will be no problem, as he is without a doubt the best player in a Saudi League team.
