An Elden Ring player took an astounding 15 hours to beat the game's final boss. While Elden Ring is said to be more approachable than FromSoftware’s other titles, it’s still an extremely hard game.

Despite its difficulty, some users have completed Elden Ring in unique ways that put some restrictions upon the playthrough to make it even more challenging. As an example, an Elden Ring player beat the game without ever leveling up, while also starting with arguably the worst class in the game. Now, another Elden Ring fan has managed to finish the game in perhaps the most ridiculous way possible, and it took them over 15 hours to beat the final boss.

A Reddit user named Unfair-Background-15 has now beaten Elden Ring in an unusual manner, as they finished the game by doing only a single point of damage. The player takes over five hours to defeat Radagon, and it takes them more than 15 hours to beat the Elden Beast using this tactic. As seen in the video, Unfair-Background-15 is just rolling into enemies, doing 1 damage with every hit, and the user has been sharing their fights against the boss for some time.

In April 2023, Unfair-Background-15 uploaded a video of how they defeated Morgott in Elden Ring by doing 1 damage on every roll, and it took them over eight hours to beat the boss. The player has detailed the strategy in the comments section of both posts, confirming that they have equipped 1 piece of the Briar armor set, which allows them to inflict 1 damage upon rolling.

While many Elden Ring fans have defeated its final boss in unusual ways, the strategy utilized by Unfair-Background-15 is probably the most time-consuming of them all. The player confirms that it took them around 400 hours to complete the playthrough using this method, with the fight against the Fire Giant in Elden Ring taking over 40 hours across all attempts.

Many gamers in the comments section commend Unfair-Background-15 for finishing Elden Ring in this way, and it looks like users have been following their attempts for quite some time. A lot of players also wonder what’s next for Unfair-Background-15, as users are curious about other ridiculous ways they could beat Elden Ring. Overall, the post is filled with players congratulating Unfair-Background-15 and commenting on their incredible level of patience.

Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
