Elden Ring features a vast world that can take hundreds of hours to completely explore. With such a large world at their disposal, it's not uncommon for players to occasionally run into various bugs.

While some of these are harmless and even amusing, others can ruin perfect runs for many players. Even though Elden Ring is notoriously difficult, many players choose to challenge their skills by attempting to beat the game without dying or even getting hit.

A Reddit user named pianoko shared a video featuring in-game footage of their unfortunate fight against an Elden Ring's Greater Enemy Boss named Flying Dragon Agheel. The video shows that the player encountered a common glitch that caused them to get stuck in nearby terrain. After defeating the dragon, the camera snapped unusually, and it seemed like the dragon's head pushed the player's character model into a nearby tree stump. A couple of seconds later, the player mysteriously died, ending their no-death run, which had lasted 7 hours. The video received a lot of attention in the community, as the post reached over 22k upvotes on Elden Ring's official subreddit.

Many players claim that the only silver lining is that the glitch occurred in Elden Ring's Limgrave region and not later in the run. Some fans have suggested that upon encountering this glitch, the player should have saved the game and quit to avoid death. Relaunching it would probably have spawned the character next to the stump. A couple of comments pointed out that the player was probably stuck in a flying animation, and the game usually kills players who are airborne or inactive for too long, assuming their model is immobile. Unfortunately for pianoko, this "help" ended their no-death run.

Where to Find the Flying Dragon Agheel in Elden Ring

Like all the other dragons in Elden Ring, the Flying Dragon Agheel is an optional boss, meaning that players don't need to beat it to progress the story. To find this dragon, players need to head to the Dragon-Burnt Ruins in Limgrave, which can be found around the central area of Agheel Lake.

Similar to most dragon fights in Elden Ring, the easiest way to beat the Flying Dragon Agheel is by riding Torrent, as it gives you much-needed mobility against the dragon's agile moveset. While Agheel does not have any specific weakness to damage types, hitting this dragon in the head significantly amplifies damage output.
