Elden Ring has one of the most unique and fluid combat systems across all open-world RPGs. This is made true through the massive amounts of weapons in the game. With every sword, axe, hammer, and more having a completely different playstyle, it makes each playthrough much more engaging.
Many weapons can be challenging to master, but with enough time and practice, everything is possible. Most Elden Ring weapons can be difficult to locate early on, and even if they are located, every weapon has requirements that the player must meet before using them. The Sword of St. Trina, as the name suggests, is a sword, and it can be acquired quite early on if the player sidetracks a little from the main path.

Some of the best weapons in Elden Ring can scale high enough to make defeating even the late-game bosses feel like a walk in the park.
Where To Find Sword of St. Trina

The weapon is located in Caelid, so the player must make their way from Limgrave to the Smoldering Church. From the church, if you head southeast, you will be able to spot a Site of Grace next to the Shack of the Rotting.
From the Rotview Balcony Site of Grace, jump down the nearby cliff to reach the entrance to the Forsaken Ruins. There are a lot of Monstrous Crow enemies in the vicinity that will jump from the top of the tree branches when you approach the Ruins, so be careful and deal with them if they prove to be a problem. There should be an Imp Seal Statue right in front of you, which blocks the gate until you use a Stonesword Key. After using the key, head down the stairs and open the gate in front of you. Inside, there should be a small room with a chest in the middle of it. Approach the chest and open it to acquire the Sword of St. Trina.

What Does The Sword of St. Trina Do?

- The weapon requires 10 Strength, 12 Dexterity, and 14 Intelligence to use.
The Sword of St. Trina is one of the few weapons in Elden Ring that has a passive effect, which causes Sleep build-up. On top of the passive effect, it also has a skill called the Mists of Slumber. When cast, this skill releases a purple mist forward that inflicts sleep on any enemies in the area. Because of this, the Sword of St. Trina can be an excellent choice for Sleep builds, providing high damage output as well as making the enemy or player, in PvP, sleep.
The weapon requires Somber Smithing Stones to upgrade, and at max level, it has a D scaling with Strength, C scaling with Dexterity, and D scaling with Intelligence. Having three stats of similar scaling areas allows the player to level up all three stats, gradually increasing the maximum physical and magic damage the weapon can output.
