The
Winged Scythe is one of the few Scythes available in Elden Ring. The weapon scales with Dexterity, Faith, and Strength, with Faith having the highest scaling. So, the more Faith players have, the heavier Winged Scythe's damage will be. The availability of the Winged Scythe early on makes it a great choice to start a new game in Elden Ring.
The Winged Scythe resembles a long stick that has a pair of angel wings at its end. The pagans say that maidens with white wings are Death’s gentle messengers. As the lore suggests, the Winged Scythe has a unique skill called Angel’s Wings. While simple, it has one of the best animations in Elden Ring.
The Best Colossal Weapons in Elden Ring
Elden Ring features a host of colossal weapons from the Starscourge Greatsword, to Ghiza's Wheel. These are the best colossal weapons in Elden Ring.
Updated on June 6, 2024, by Nahda Nabiilah: Among the plethora of weapons that exist in Elden Ring, the Winged Scythe is one of the limited weapons that are infused with Holy Damage. Players will need to have a minimum of 16 Strength, 16 Dexterity, and 24 Faith requirements to be able to wield it. Luckily, the Winged Scythe can be obtained quite early on from one of the ruins that exist in the
Weeping Peninsula in Limgrave. Tarnished will have to travel a long path from the Bridge of Sacrifice while fighting various enemies to reach the Tombsward Ruins.
How To Get Winged Scythe In Elden Ring
To get the Winged Scythe in Elden Ring, players need to open the chest inside Tombsward Ruins in Weeping Peninsula,
Limgrave. Small Rats guard the ruins, so defeat them and head down the stairs. The path down can be found next to an area full of Trina’s Lily, one of Elden Ring's crafting materials.
Upon descending the stairs, players will be ambushed by two pages, which are humanoid enemies, one firing Fire Bolts with a Crossbow and the other fighting with a Thrusting Sword. Both can be considered annoying enemies in Elden Ring, so either kill the two pages or ignore them, then head straight ahead and open the door.
Behind the door is a treasure chest that contains the Winged Scythe.
Winged Scythe Location In Elden Ring
To reach the Winged Scythe location in Elden Ring, players must travel to Tombsward Ruins, located southwest of the
Church of Pilgrimage in Weeping Peninsula, Limgrave. From the Bridge of Sacrifice Site of Lost Grace, move southwest past the Giant and the horde of Demi-Humans.
Once players reach a split path where a castle can be seen on the left side, head north and climb up the slope. Be careful of the dogs near the pond, and then take a turn southwest to activate the South of the Lookout Tower Site of Lost Grace.
From the bonfire, proceed west to the long bridge where a sleeping Elden Ring creature is guarding it. Ignore the enemy if desired since it won’t chase, and continue walking west after crossing the bridge.
Go northwest upon seeing the Spirit Spring and climb the slope. The church’s entrance is to the north. Activate the
Church of Pilgrimage Site of Lost Grace and head southwest until the Elden Ring ruins are visible. Now, go down the stairs, kill the enemies, and open the chest to get the Winged Scythe.
