Where To Find the Ruins Greatsword in Elden Ring

The only way to get the Ruins Greatsword in Elden Ring is to defeat the Crucible Knight and Misbegotten Warrior side bosses. You can find these enemies in Redmane Castle Plaza on a small island in the southeast corner of Caelid. However, facing these opponents is not that straightforward. Eventually, you need to meet the following conditions to find the room of these bosses:

Continue along the Ranni the Witch questline until you reach Redmane Castle.
Participate in the Radahn Festival and defeat Starscourge Radahn.
Go up to the northernmost tower of the palace and talk to Jerren.
Restart this location and go to Redmane Castle Plaza Site of Grace. Walking a little north from this Site of Grace, you will see a yellow magical passage leading straight to the boss arena.

If you've already fought the Crucible Knight in Evergaol in Limgrave and defeated Leonine Misbegotten, fighting these enemies won't hold any surprises. In fact, it won't cause too many problems, but you can make it more comfortable. Once you enter the arena, try to defeat Misbegotten Warrior as quickly as possible. The Crucible Knight will appear only a minute after the start of the battle, so with enough persistence and stable DPS, you can split the battle into two stages instead of fighting both bosses at once. After defeating your opponents, you will receive the coveted Ruins Greatsword.

The main advantages of Ruins Greatsword are its colossal physical damage and its unique gravitational skill that hits targets at a long distance. To use this weapon, you will need at least 50 Strength and 16 Intelligence.

Base Attack Stats: 124 Physical damage; 37 Magic damage.
Wave of Destruction: This unique skill allows the player to swing overhead and hit the ground in front of them, creating a powerful gravitational blow that breaks the ground and causes the appearance of sharp-edged stones. This skill cannot be parried, and its activation costs only 25 FP.
Ashes of War: You can not infuse this weapon with Ashes of War, but you can upgrade it with Somber Smithing Stones.
Scaling: The damage from this weapon scales with Strength and Intelligence and is rated B and E, respectively. After ten upgrades with Somber Smithing Stones, the damage scaling of this weapon will become S rank Strength and B rank Intelligence.
