Elden Ring is back with a bang, and its DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, is doing phenomenally. The DLC is challenging and requires players to think on their toes, sometimes requiring them to think outside the box. For instance, players may sometimes have to jump a considerable distance before moving to their next objective.
Speaking of jumping a considerable distance, many players do not know they can jump further by pulling off a simple trick. With the ability to jump further, players can clear obstacles never before. Keeping this in mind, this guide will cover everything there is to know about jumping further into Elden Ring, along with other useful information.
Jumping Further in Elden Ring
While Elden Ring is challenging enough, it does not help that players must jump over obstacles, the kind that are not easy to overcome. Fortunately, there is a way to jump further, called the sprint jump.
- To jump further in Elden Ring, press and hold the sprint button while jumping.
- If you are playing Elden Ring on a PlayStation 5, you must hold the O button and press X to jump further. You must hold the B button and press A to jump further for Xbox. For PC, press and hold the Spacebar and F to jump further.
- If you do not have enough room to run, you can jump further from a standstill. To do so, jump and press the O button for PlayStation, B for Xbox, and F for PC in the air to start sprinting as soon as you land. However, you will need to wait a while before initiating another jump, because jumping twice in quick succession will not result in a sprint jump.
Using a Mod to Jump Further in Elden Ring (Only for PC)
Elden Ring players on PC can take advantage of the Super Jump mod for Elden Ring to jump further. In fact, players can edit their avatar’s movement speed, backstep distance, roll distance, and jump height. Interestingly, this mod can be used with other mods, meaning you will not have to worry about your game breaking in the process. Also, you can remove the Super Jump mod at any time, which is a breath of fresh air.
