Players in Elden Ring can experience PVP just about any time due to invaders being able to jump into your world and hunt you down. Some players do enjoy PVP, but the invader's system can have a lot of moving pieces that make it hard to use whenever you want.
The Colosseum is a PVP-focused location players can go to just focus on fighting the other player, without any other distractions. The Colosseum also allows multiple players at once and even team fights, with only a few steps needing to be completed before all of this can be done.
Elden Ring: 6 Tips For Winning Free-For-Alls In The Colosseum
Elden Ring's free-for-all PvP gives players the chance to test themselves in all-out combat. Here's how to emerge victorious.
How To Use The Colosseum & Marika's Statue In The Roundtable Hold
The Colosseum can only be accessed after the player first physically enters the Colosseum in the world. There are three Colosseums spread out in the Lands Between, and once one is visited, players can battle within or use Marika's Statue in the Roundtable Hold. When joining a Colosseum match from the actual Colosseum, you'll be limited in the location and rules based on that Colosseum.
When using Marika's Statue in the Roundtable Hold, you'll be able to mix and match each Colosseum with any rules currently unlocked. For those wanting to start using the Colosseum, it's best to travel to all three, then only use the Roundtable Hold to join games. When interacting with the statue or the central pedestal in a Colosseum, you'll be able to determine the following rules:
- Combat Format (game mode)
- Number Of Players
- If Spirit Ashes are allowed
- Colosseum Password (to only play with friends)
- Restrictions
- Desired Team
- Venue (choices involve any visited Colosseum)
After the rules are selected, choose the Enter Combat option to be backed out and get the waiting screen. First, enough players will need to join your lobby before being teleported to the Colosseum. During this wait time, you'll be able to run around as long as you don't go too far from the statue, and also check your gear to make sure everything is ready. Once the lobby is filled, you'll be transferred to the arena and the game will start.
Colosseums & Combat Forms
There are three colosseums to be found, and entering a game while there will limit the Combat forms you can play.
