FromSoft and Bandai Namco Entertainment released Elden Ring back in 2022, and the Soulslike went on to win Game of the Year. The dark fantasy’s popularity continued when the hefty Shadow of the Erdtree expansion was released in June 2024, and it became the first DLC to be nominated for Game of the Year. This year’s The Game Awards event also revealed the brand-new spin-off multiplayer Elden Ring: Nightreign, which will feature an original story set parallel to the base game. Elden Ring fans may have missed a few details from the Nightreign trailer, which is understandable considering it was one of the biggest surprises of the night.

Elden Ring Fan Spends a Year Creating Custom Magic: The Gathering Deck
The creator noted they had spent a year making this Elden Ring-themed deck, and Redditors were highly impressed with the card layout and artwork and also noted how well the game’s lore fit MTG’s aesthetic.
