An artist drew Elden Ring's Mohg and Morgott in Hades 2's art style. The two brothers are collectively known as the Omen twins.
Much like FromSoftware's other Soulsborne games, 2022's Elden Ring is known for its many challenging boss fights. The title has more than 200 bosses scattered throughout The Lands Between, but players only need to overcome a few major enemies to beat the game and reach its many endings. Among these is Morgott the Omen King, a powerful demigod who is located in the Leyndell Royal Capital region. One Elden Ring fan has reimagined Morgott and his twin brother, Mohg, Lord of Blood, as characters of a popular roguelike series.
Awesome Art of Elden Ring's Maliketh Gives Serious Berserk Vibes
A creative Elden Ring player gives a Berserk-style reimagining with their fan illustration for the fearsome Maliketh, the Black Blade.
In a recent Twitter post, artist ASHTHEPENGUIN shared their illustrations that featured Elden Ring's Mohg and Morgott drawn in the distinct art style of the Hades rogue-like dungeon crawlers created by independent developer Supergiant Games. The latest entry in the series received acclaim after it entered early access on May 6. Hades 2 has become a massive hit on Steam, where it currently has a Very Positive overall rating based on the reviews of more than 37,000 players.
Elden Ring Mohg and Morgott Fan Art
Many Twitter users praised ASHTHEPENGUIN's drawings, while others requested the artist to draw Malenia next, who is widely recognized as Elden Ring's hardest boss. Aside from the Omen twins, ASHTHEPENGUIN has made fan art of other Elden Ring characters in the past, including the Tree Sentinel, Melina, and Miquella.
The brother of Malenia, Miquella is the central figure of the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. This DLC, which is scheduled to launch on June 21, will provide players with a story set in a new region called The Land of Shadow. One of the expansion's characters, a mysterious figure named Messmer the Impaler, as well as a new Elden Ring armor set, have already been revealed to the public. FromSoftware president and Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki said in an interview that Messmer will play a key role in the DLC, adding that the expansion's shadow theme will also be one of the character's important elements.
In marketing materials, Shadow of the Erdtree's Messmer can be seen using fire magic and wielding a large spear. He is also accompanied by a snake, and this has resulted in some fans to theorize his possible connection to Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy, an optional boss found in Elden Ring's Altus Plateau region who is associated with serpents.
