The Land of Shadows, introduced in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, is filled to the brim with content. Like the base map, the DLC map features numerous forts. Some are large and time-consuming to clear, while others can be completed in under ten minutes.
Fog Rift Fort falls into the latter category. Despite its small size, it is home to many valuable items that players might miss if they're not careful. The following walkthrough details the location of all significant items, including rare weapons, resources, and ammo. Make sure to collect everything and mark this fort off your checklist.

How To Reach Fog Rift Fort
To reach Fog Rift Fort, you'll first need to travel to the Scadu Atlus, West Site of Grace, which you can do so by heading in the west direction from Highroad Cross Site of Grace. So, hop onto your Torrent and proceed west, steering clear of the giant enemy and cutting through the forest to reach your destination. You should soon spot the fort to the south.
Once you arrive at the Scadu Atlus, West Site of Grace, take a few steps westward until you reach the cliff's edge. Carefully jump down the mountainside, repeating this process, until you can safely land on the top of one of the fort’s towers.
Acquiring Fire Arrows and Redflesh Mushroom
Descend the ladder and defeat the few enemies in front of you. You’ll find a Fire Arrow among the spoils. Continue forward and grab the 
Redflesh Mushroom once you enter the room in the next tower.

Acquiring Greater Potentate's Cookbook [3]
Once you exit the room, look to the west, and you’ll spot a corpse in the distance. The Greater Potentate's Cookbook [3] is located there. Use the staircase to your right, then cross the bridge to retrieve the cookbook.
Acquiring Messmerfire Grease and Serpent Flail
Now, head back to the previous tower and take a few steps forward until you see a ladder going down to your left. Use it to descend below and dispatch any enemies you encounter. They will have a bunch of flamethrowers facing your way, so it's smart to use long-range weapons here. Once you have defeated the enemies, pick up the 
Messmerfire Grease from one of the corpses.
Reach the end of the area by defeating any remaining enemies. You will find a chest near a cluster of barrels and boxes. Open this chest to acquire the 
Serpent Flail weapon, a valuable addition to your arsenal.
Alternatively, if you don't want to face the flamethrowers, you can jump down after descending the first tower to the roof of one of the tents near the Serpent Flail chest and defeat the enemies from behind. This way, you will get the weapon first and the cookbook page later.

Defeating Black Knight Garrew and Acquiring Black Steel Greatshield
Head back up the ladder you used before and take the bridge to your hard right. At the end of the bridge, you will encounter the Black Knight Garrew mini-boss. Defeat this enemy, and you will automatically acquire the 
Black Steel Greatshield. He will make good use of his large mace and shield, and thankfully, his attacks are parryable.
Acquiring Somber Smithing Stone [2] and Smithing Stone [7]
Once the Black Knight Garrew is on the ground, heal yourself (because we know you took damage from him), and head to the castle wall to the south. Defeat any enemies you encounter and pillage the corpse at the end to acquire the 
Somber Smithing Stone [2].
Now, return to the area where you defeated the Black Knight Garrew and enter the third tower. Inside, you’ll find a chest; open it to obtain the 
Smithing Stone [7].
Acquiring Arrow's Soaring Sting Talisman
For the last item in the Fog Rift Fort, exit the tower and look to your east. You will notice a gap between the castle wall and the rock. Head there, then go up the staircase before ascending further using a ladder to your north. Climb another ladder situated to your left and open the chest in front of you. You will now have the 
Arrow's Soaring Sting Talisman in your possession.
After acquiring the talisman, you can leave the fort for good, as there is nothing important left.
