The Winged Serpent Helm is a standalone piece of armor exclusive to SOTE that can be found fairly easily in the later section of the game. It is a unique piece that only drops once. Here's where to find it.

In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the Winged Serpent Helm is a unique piece and is not a part of any set. Despite that, it goes together incredibly well with the Fire Knight Set, dropped from the elite knights in the Shadow Keep. Wearing the Winged Serpent Helm enhances Fire Knight Skills like the Ash of War: Flame Spear, Ash of War: Flame Skewer, and Fire Serpent. It weighs 4.6.

The flavor text in the description of the Winged Serpent Helm says it 'Keeps the base serpent at bay and holds its power in check,' but it doesn't appear to have any effect during Messmer the Impaler's second phase in Shadow Keep.

Where To Find Winged Serpent Helm Location

In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the Winged Serpent Helm is a reward for killing the Fire Knight protecting the entrance to Messmer the Impaler boss fight.

To reach this Fire Knight, players will first have to activate the lever near the Storehouse, Seventh Floor Site of Grace, and activate the lever that changes the orientation of the statues in the middle of the Storehouse. Once that's done, jump on the wooden beam extending towards the Storehouse just below the Site of Grace and climb the statues to reach the balcony shown in the video above. Exit to the outside using the door in front of you and climb the staircase to your right. The Fire Knight will be to your left, standing in front of the closed double doors. Defeat him to obtain the Winged Serpent Helm.
