The Cerulean Coast in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is a valley studded with bright blue flowers. You can reach this optional region in two ways: following the Ellac River and descending Charo's Hidden Grave. While exploring this beautiful valley isn't required to progress the story in the DLC, you'll be missing out on useful cookbooks, powerful weapons, and a remembrance boss.

Since getting to the Cerulean Coast isn't as easy as following a road, you could be left confused about what path you should be taking to reach this valley. The following guide details both ways of reaching the Cerulean Coast, through the Ellac River and from Charo's Hidden Grave.

Updated by Vincent Arogya on July 11, 2024: The Cerulean Coast is a beautiful region in Shadow of the Erdtree, and you can reach this location in two different ways. There are plenty of secrets hidden in this region, including weapons, spells, and bosses. You can also learn important lore in the Stone Fissure Coffin to piece together the DLC's story.

To reach the Cerulean Coast via the Ellac River, you can begin your journey from Castle Ensis' Castle Front Site of Grace and ride all the way to the east until you come across the deep valley. Carefully make your way to the bottom of the valley by following the steep ridges. Now, head west to locate a cave system, and continue making your way through it to discover the Ellac River Site of Grace.

Further ride south from Ellac River Downstream Site of Grace to find a second waterfall, and again, parkour your way down to the ground level. While riding south-southwest, stick to the thin strip of land on the right-hand side of the river to avoid gaining the attention of the Furnace Golem. As you ride past the Furnace Golem, look for a rocky arch to your west and travel a short distance through it to finally reach the Cerulean Coast.
