The number of new weapons you can find in Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is honestly mindblowing. There are so many new weapons to be found, and so many of them are incredibly unique (and worth using) an example of this is the Claws of Night, which are Claw weapons with ranged attacks and some truly absurd Dexterity Scaling.

Elden Ring: Most Intimidating Armor Combinations For Invasions

There's no better power play for invaders in Elden Ring than a set of armor that strikes fear in the hearts of their enemies.

However, compared to a lot of the other new weapons in the DLC, the Claws of Night takes a lot of work to reach. And, to be completely honest, the questline this weapon is tied to is pretty obtuse and not only hard to find on your own but also hard to figure out what to do in the questline itself. So, with that in mind, let's break down the entirety of how to obtain this unique Claw weapon in Elden Ring.

The Claws of Night are one of many fist, hand-to-hand, and/or claw weapons added to Elden Ring with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, but compared to something like the Beast Claws (which can be obtained as soon as you entered the DLC), the Claws of Night require a lot more time investment to obtain.

But, when you go through all that effort, you end up with this Claw weapon that is honestly, almost too strong. The fact that it scales so strongly with Dexterity (B by default at Standard +10) and has innate Bleed is already good enough, but the weapon is basically also a Smithscript weapon as its Heavy Attack and Ash of War throw the blades of the claws as projectiles. Because the Ash of War (Scattershot Throw) can't be switched off, the Bleed buildup on these Claws doesn't scale with Arcane, but in every other category, these Claws are absolutely incredible.

How Do You Actually Find This Weapon?

But, how do you actually go about getting these things? You've heard that it's an involved process, but what does that mean? Well, essentially, you need to complete the entire questline (almost) of Count Ymir found at the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. This involves hunting down 3 different hanging horns in the middle of these large finger-themed landscapes. We won't go too much into it, as we've already broken down the whole questline here, but when you're approaching the last hanging horn, an NPC Invader will appear.

This is the Swordhand of Night Anna, and you'll notice she's using the Claws of Night. Beat her here, and the Claws of Night are yours. Of course, you can continue the questline from here, as it features one of the most atmospheric boss fights in any Souls game, but as far as the Claws of Night are concerned, this is all you need to do.
