The Divine Bird Feathers Incantation is one of the many new Incantations to be found in Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC alongside all the new Sorceries and new Weapons. Based on the in-game description alone, you might think that this is an Aspect of the Crucible Incantation, but it's actually not.
10 Best Optional Bosses in Elden Ring, Ranked
Elden Ring features dozens of optional bosses that might be easy to miss, but they are certainly not easy to forget due to their lore and challenge.
While it is close to a Crucible Incantation, this is actually an uncategorized Incantation, and it's also a ton of fun to use in-game. So, let's go over where exactly you're meant to find this Incantation in the Shadow Lands of Elden Ring.
Disclaimer: This is a DLC-exclusive Incantation, meaning only those with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC will be able to use it and have access to it overall.

The Tarnished spreads their arms wide as if they were wings and fires a flurry of feathers in front of them. |
Before we go into exactly where the Divine Bird Feathers Incantation can be found, let's give a brief overview of the Incantation overall so you can determine for yourself whether or not it's even 'worth' hunting down.
The Divine Bird Feathers are a unique Incantation in two particular ways:
- This is an Incantation that can be used while moving,
- And, it's an Incantation that can be held down to continually cast it, draining about 2 FP per second to do so.
While in use, you basically fire out a constant shotgun spread of feathers, dealing very low damage at a consistent rate the entire time. The Incantation's damage really varies depending on the build and situation, but it seems to be pretty good for Stance Breaking enemies, at least as far as non-Beastial Incantations go. With larger enemies in particular (AKA Dragons), you can get a lot out of this Incantation, especially if you also wear the Divine Bird Helm (from the Divine Bird Warriors) on top of everything else.
Divine Bird Feathers Incantation Location
Found in the Rauh Ancient Ruins
The Rauh Ruins in the Land of Shadow is a pretty large area with a lot of well-hidden items in it. The Divine Bird Feathers Incantation is just one of many examples of an item, Sorcery, or Incantation that you can easily miss. Here's where to find it exactly:
- From Rauh Ancient Ruins West Site of Grace head into the ruins directly west of the Grace.
- Follow the stairs in the ruin upward, taking the leftmost path in the room at the top of said stairs.
- At the end of this leftmost path should be an elevator, take it up to the top.
- At the top of the elevator, head straight ahead (AKA north) until you run into one of those dual-wielding Knights you ran into in Belurat.
- Directly behind this Knight should be a body on the ground in the ankle-high water, and on this body will be the Divine Bird Feathers Incantation
It's also equally easy to come from the other side, starting at the Church of the Bud Main Entrance Site of Grace and going down towards the Rauh Ancient Ruins West Site of Grace, though you will have to deal with the new variants of the Kindred of Rot if you go this alternate path.
It's one of the easier items to find in this DLC overall, you just need to know what direction to head in, and finding it yourself should be pretty simple.
