Ruins in Elden Ring are small locations where players can acquire a few items, such as hidden weapons and armor pieces. These locations are not important in terms of the main story of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Some of the Ruins added in the DLC also have Furnace Golems nearby, allowing players to acquire the new Crystal Tears that they can place in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.

For those looking to visit these locations, this guide includes all the details on how to get to all the ruins in S hadow of the Erdtree and what players can find while exploring them.

How To Get To The Scorched Ruins In Elden Ring

From the Gravesite Plain Site of Grace, summon your Torrent and ride northeast. You will pass a stone structure with a Curseblade on top that will ambush you. This is a formidable opponent to beat, especially early on in the game. Going past this enemy, you will spot a ruined building in the distance, the Scorched Ruins. To the north, there will be a Site of Grace that you can also interact with.

How To Get To The Ruins Of Unte In Elden Ring

From the Storehouse First Floor Site of Grace, head southwest, down the elevator, and past the Fire Knight. Turn left on the bridge to climb a ladder that takes you down to a waterfall you can go through. Another ladder here leads to a small room with a painting and an illusory wall on the right.

Go through the wall to reach a coffin you can interact with, which takes you to the lower levels of Scadu Altus, the Recluses River. Head east to find the Ruins of Unte and two Furnace Golems nearby.

You can fight these Furnace Golems one by one, as the one closer to the Ruins is inactive until you throw a Hefty Furnace Pot at it.
