Elden Ring: 13 NPCs You Can Kill

There are a ton of different NPCs you meet throughout the Lands Between. These are the ones that, when killed, don't impact the game all too much.

While exploring the world of Elden Ring and encountering its various boss fights, it's only natural that some players may begin to wonder how big the enemies can actually get. While pondering this thought, gamers may also begin to wonder what the smallest bosses in the game are, and there are quite a few to be encountered.

6 Divine Beast Dancing Lion

Height: 12-13 Feet

Divine Beast Dancing Lion in Elden Ring

Location

Belurat, the Tower Settlement

Drops

120,000 Runes, Remembrance of the Dancing Lion, Divine Beast Head

HP

25,972

This new boss, introduced in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, is no joke. Similar to the Lion Guardians spread all over the Lands Between, this powerful creature with humanoid facial features is challenging and lightning-fast. Players who've already defeated the Divine Beast Dancing Lion can attest to this boss' high difficulty and swift moveset.

That said, while this boss is formidable, its size isn't. At least not when compared to other massive bosses in the game, such as the Fire Giant or Elder Dragon Greyoll. Standing at approximately 13 feet tall, this dancing lion will make more than one Tarnished feel frustrated and powerless.

5 Radagon Of The Golden Order

Height: 10 Feet

Location

Stone Platform (Inside the Erdtree)

Drops

N/A (500,000 Runes after defeating the Elden Beast)

HP

13,339

Consort to Queen Marika and father to Malenia and many other demi-gods in Elden Ring, Radagon of the Golden Order is a force to be reckoned with. As the first obstacle within the Erdtree, he swings a powerful golden hammer that inflicts strong physical damage and can deliver wide AoE attacks. While he's not the toughest boss in the last stages of the game, players should still approach him with respect and caution.

Elden Ring: 12 Best Fire Weapons, Ranked

Fire damage is a useful tool in Elden Ring, and these weapons are the best ones for players who wish to use them.

He doesn't drop any Runes when defeated, but he gives way to the Elden Beast boss fight, which does yield a considerable number of them. Radagon, once the proud spouse of Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, now stands a broken god who will defend the Elden Throne at all costs. At approximately 10 feet tall, he easily towers over the Tarnished yet remains one of the smallest bosses in the game.

4 Malenia

Height: 8 Feet

Location

Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree

Drops

480,000 Runes, Malenia's Great Rune, Remembrance of the Rot Goddess

HP

33,251

It's almost impossible to find an Elden Ring player who doesn't know about Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Even if some have never faced her themselves, her reputation as arguably the hardest boss in the game precedes her. Daughter of Radagon of the Golden Order and Queen Marika, she is one of the quickest-moving bosses in the game and has a frustrating healing ability that restores her Health whenever she manages to hit the Tarnished.

Although she was once a mighty, healthy demi-god, strong enough to defeat Starscourge Radahn, she's now covered with Scarlett Rot and lives her days deep within the Haligtree. Among many things, Malenia is responsible for having unleashed the Scarlet Rot upon Caelid, leaving the area in the putrid state that players find it in. She's one of the bosses who drop the largest number of Runes upon defeat and has a stature of approximately 8 feet.

3 Stormhill Evergaol Crucible Knight

Height: 7.8 Feet

Crucible Knight in Elden Ring

Location

Stormhill Evergaol

Drops

2,100 Runes, Aspects of the Crucible: Tail

HP

2,868

Crucible Knight enemies are widely spread across the Lands Between in Elden RIng. Typically, they can be found by entering Evergaols; however, they also inhabit other areas of the game, and sometimes, they can be accompanied by other knights, which makes defeating them a nearly impossible task. There's a total of 16 Crucible Knights in Elden Ring, and each is more challenging than the last.

Players who wish to face them must learn their attack patterns to perfection, as they not only use their swords and shields to fight but also have access to a wide set of magical abilities that players will be rewarded with if they manage to defeat them. Standing at a "meager" 7.8 feet tall, Crucible Knights are one of the smallest boss types in Elden Ring; however, they pack a huge punch and have one of the most aggressive movesets in the game, leaving close to no attack windows for the Tarnished.

2 Leonine Misbegotten

Height: 7.5 Feet

Leonine Misbegotten in Elden Ring

Location

Castle Morne

Drops

3,800 Runes, Grafted Blade Greatsword

HP

2,198

If players explore the Lands Between in a certain order, they'll likely come across Castle Morne sooner rather than later. This castle isn't particularly big, nor does it take a long time to explore to completion; however, it holds a formidable boss that looks like a failed experiment from some modern lab.

The Best Sorceries In Elden Ring

To play Elden Ring as a mage you need strong magic, and sorceries are the most popular type of spells. These are the best sorceries in Elden Ring.

Leonine Misbegotten seems to be a hybrid of a lion, a dragon, and some kind of massive bird. This boss has a relatively repetitive attack pattern, including lunges that are reminiscent of Dark Souls 3's Ringed City DLC final boss, Slave Knight Gael. That said, Leonine Misbegotten is considerably weaker than Gael and also seems to be smaller, "only" standing at 7.5 feet.

1 Soldier Of Godrick

Height: 7.2 Feet

Soldier Of Godrick Running At Tarnished In Elden Ring

Location

Stranded Graveyard

Drops

400 Runes

HP

384 (When not modified)

The Soldier of Godrick is meant to be a tutorial fight for newcomers who've either never played Elden Ring before or have never even touched a FromSoftware title. This boss is meant to be easy to dodge, parry, counter, and ultimately defeat. That said, for some reason, the Soldier of Godrick has also become a popular meme NPC, and several players and coders have taken it upon themselves to modify his stats and make him the strongest boss in the game.

The modified version of the Soldier of Godrick (affectionately nicknamed as "Rick, Soldier of God") takes no damage from even the strongest characters at level 713. This mighty soldier stands at approximately 7.2 feet tall, making him the smallest boss in Elden Ring.
