Like the other Remembrances in Elden Ring, the Remembrance of the Shadow Sunflower can be exchanged for a choice between two items by talking to the Enia, the Finger Reader. She can be found at Roundtable Hold.

If you're having trouble finding her, she is located in the first room to your right when you teleport to the Roundtable. Talk to her and select the option to receive power from remembrance.The Remembrance of the Shadow Sunflower can be used to obtain one of the following two items:

  • Shadow Sunflower Blossom: A colossal weapon that deals a mix of physical and holy damage. It has an incredible ash of war.
  • Land of Shadow: An incantation that fires a barrage of golden stars at any targeted enemy. It is a good option for faith spell casters that need access to a high damage, single target incantation.

The decision ultimately comes down to the preference and playstyle of the player. An incantation isn't very useful for an INT spellcaster, and a Colossal Weapon doesn't do much for someone without the capacity to hold it. Both these items require the player to have a FAI build, which means that those who do not can basically ignore them entirely.

If you want a weapon that deals high poise damage and uses a little FP to deal a ton of damage, then the Shadow Sunflower Blossom is exactly what you need. On the other hand, the Land of Shadow is a must-have incantation for any faith-based magic user. It has very good damage for its cost, and it only takes one memory slot. It's one of the best faith spells out there. It might also be worth it to get both by duplicating the Remembrance for someone with a high FAI and enough STR to wield the Blossom.

Shadow Sunflower Blossom

The head of a monstrous shadow sunflower manifestation of the Scadutree. Then again, it might be just a flower, wielded as a weapon. Much like the Scadutree itself in appearance, a second stalk winds tightly around the first, almost as if in a tender embrace.

The Shadow Sunflower is a Colossal Weapon in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree that deals 114 Physical and 114 Holy damage. It can be upgraded using Somber Smithing Stones to +10 and weighs 16.0. The weapon is a great option for STR/FAI builds.

Its Ash of War is called Shadow Sunflower Headbutt, and it cannot be changed. The skill uses 12 FP and can also be followed up. The follow-up can be executed twice, with each cast taking 6 FP. The player raises the weapon up and slams it down on the ground, dealing a large amount of holy damage. The follow-up sees the player repeatedly slam it down twice more.

The Land of Shadow is an Erdtree Incantation that costs 40 FP to cast. It takes up one memory slot and does a decent amount of damage to enemies who aren't resistant to holy damage. It works similarly to the Elden Stars incantation but is better optimized, making it the superior option. It takes less time to cast and doesn't take up two memory slots while dealing comparable damage.

This spell has a fairly large range, reaching most enemies that the player can lock on to, with some exceptions for the more extreme distances. It can deal up to 2-3k damage with the right equipment and buffs.
