The Spiritcaller Cave is a dungeon found in the Mountaintops of the Giants in Elden Ring. This area is only accessible after defeating Elden Ring Morgott, The Omen King in Leyndell, Royal Capital.
Unlike most of the other caves in Elden Ring, The Spiritcaller Cave has only one type of enemy: the Lesser
Spirit-Caller Snail. This creature depends on its summons to deal damage while having a low HP. Defeating these snails causes all of their spirit summons to disappear, so players should keep that in mind while exploring the Spiritcaller Cave.
Spiritcaller Cave Location In Elden Ring
The Spiritcaller Cave is southeast of the Freezing Lake in Mountaintops of Giants. The closest bonfire to the Cave is the Freezing Lake Site of Lost Grace. From there, players should ride southeast through the jellyfishes and the cave's entrance will be on their right.
The entrance is blocked by a fog that requires interacting with an Imp Seal. Using two Elden Ring Stonesword Keys will unlock it, allowing Tarnished to enter the cave and light the Site of Lost Grace. The Spiritcaller Cave can become really dark sometimes, so players should make sure to equip a Torch or the Lantern before heading inside.
What's Inside The Spiritcaller Cave In Elden Ring?
The route to the boss room is filled with Lesser Spirit-Caller Snails that summon Samurai and Wolves. However, there's an easier method to reach the boss while avoiding most of the enemies. Upon entering the Spiritcaller Cave, players can simply stand in the middle of the first room. The ground will soon collapse, as Elden Ring players descend into what appears to be an ambush.
While it looks like an ambush at first though, it's actually a shortcut. Players can run past the enemies into a long narrow path and then jump down the small cliff. From here, they should move forward, avoiding a couple of Spirit-Callers and their summons until they reach a small hole protected by a wolf. Behind that hole is the mist that leads inside the boss room.
How To Beat The Spirit-Caller Snail In Elden Ring
The boss fight has three phases: Godskin Apostle, Godskin Noble, and the Spirit-Caller Snail. Players have to defeat the first two in order to slay the snail that summoned both bosses. Like most boss encounters in Elden Ring, spirit Summons are allowed in this boss fight.
The Godskin Apostle uses a variety of attacks, most of which are Physical. To defeat it, players must be patient, keep a safe distance, and use Bleed if available, as it's the boss' main weakness. They should be sure not to get too greedy though, as Apostle attacks have a very wide reach.
After defeating the first boss, Godskin Noble will appear. It's a big boss that mainly uses thrust attacks. The best tip for players is to avoid their attack combos by rolling or circling around them. Then, they should hit the Godskin Noble a few times before rolling away. Again, Bleed is very effective here, as too are Frost attacks.
When Godskin Noble is defeated, the Spirit-caller Snail will finally show up. It doesn't have any special attacks and can be killed with just a few hits. The boss fight rewards Elden Ring players with 70,000 Runes, the Godskin Swaddling Cloth, and Black Flame Ritual.
