Full-sized expansions, new armor for horses, and a place to lay down a sword. Which Oblivion Remastered DLC is the best?
Players can join the Thieves Guild in Oblivion, and below will be the exact steps players need to follow to do so in order to get one step closer to finding out who the Gray Fox is and obtain the Thieves Guild armor of their own to benefit their sneaky ways.
How to Join the Thieves Guild in Oblivion Remastered
The easiest method of joining the Thieves Guild involves investigating the wanted posters of the Gray Fox that are found around the Imperial City. After interacting with one of these wanted posters, players can i nteract with a guard and ask them about the Gray Fox, where players must repeat this dialogue with guards until they hear something about how "The beggars love him, especially in the Waterfront." Now, head to the Waterfront District and interact with Puny Ancus, a beggar who can be bribed to talk about the Gray Fox if their disposition is high enough.
With over 80 dispositions, the beggar will reveal that they know the Gray Fox. If players select the option: Yes. I want to work with him, they will be directed to go to the Garden of Dareloth at midnight. Once it's midnight, head into the Garden of Dareloth and wait for an NPC to approach, called Armand Christophe, and talk to him about the Gray Fox, which will then provide players with the option to join the Thieves Guild, but players must have a high enough disposition of at least 60, so bribe him too.
Once Armand Christophe gives his instructions, players will receive the May the Best Thief Win quest. It's best to save here, as this quest involves a race to steal a diary against two other thieves. The best way to get the diary first is to run to the far east side of the Temple District within the Imperial City to find Amantius Allectus' House, where they can find the diary within the desk.
With the diary acquired, return to the Garden of Dareloth at midnight and give it to Armand in order to complete the quest and officially join the Thieves Guild.
If players fail to reach the diary first, then Methredhel will have it, and it can be stolen back from her by heading to her shack in the Waterfront District, where they must then lockpick a chest containing it.
