Sometimes, players might not be happy with the character that they have created back in the Imperial City Jail and Sewers for Oblivion Remastered, so they might be seeking out a plastic surgeon in Cyrodiil that can help them construct a new face. Unfortunately, no such magic wielder exists, and players are going to have to rely on old trickery to change their character's appearance in Oblivion Remastered.
All Oblivion Remastered Console Commands (& How to Use Them)
If players want a helpful list of cheat codes to use in Oblivion Remastered, then they've come to the right place.
While players can indeed change their character appearance in Oblivion Remastered, it's going to be exclusive to PC players since it requires the use of console commands. For those in need of said console command, they can find it below, along with how it works.
How to Change Character Appearance in Oblivion Remastered
Players can edit their character appearance in Oblivion Remastered on PC only by using the console key (~) or (`). Once inside the console command section, type in: showracemenu
After entering this prompt in the console commands, players can hit the ~ key again, where they will now be in the character edit menu once more. From here, players are free to change their character's race, body, head, hair, and name. This does not reset the player's progress in quests and the world, but it will reset their levels if they change races.
Once players have finished editing their character, they can select the overview tab, where they can now click continue and accept the changes that they have made, allowing players to continue through with their game. It's important to save at this point with the new character, but remember, console commands will disable achievements.
Making changes to your character's appearance will reset their level, and in that case, players will need to use the advlevel console command to get it back to where they wanted it, along with setav [attribute] [#] and advskill [skill] [#] to return previous attributes and skills.
