Diseases are a curious and sometimes quite annoying mechanic. Most of them impose a debuff on one of the stats, but some can affect several at once. Fortunately, the same method can be used to treat them all.
Oblivion Remastered: Luck Stat, Explained
Here's some insight on how the confusing Luck stat works in Oblivion Remastered.

Oblivion Remastered: Where To Store Items
There are a handful of storage containers players can use to store items in Oblivion Remastered, including storage chests within an owned home.
How to Cure Diseases in Oblivion Remastered
To get rid of a Disease in Oblivion Remastered, players need to apply the Cure Disease effect to themselves. This can be done in several ways.
Eat an Ingredient with the Cure Disease Effect
This is the easiest way to cure a Disease in Oblivion Remastered since ingredients with this effect can be found anywhere. You should stock up on these ingredients:
- Clannfear Claws
- Mandrake Root
- Shepherd's Pie
- Root Pulp
Drink a Cure Disease Potion
In the case of Alchemy, players only need to use the ingredients above to create a potion with the Cure Disease effect. However, it is worth noting that this is not the most efficient way to use your ingredients. The Cure Disease effect cannot be made more useful, since it cures all your current Diseases anyway. So we recommend that you simply chew on Mandrake Roots.
Pray at a Chapel
Another good way to quickly get rid of Disease is the Chapels. In them, players can pray at the altar to be cured.
Cast the Cure Disease Spell
Last but not least, magic. Cure Disease is a Journeyman Spell from the Restoration school in Oblivion Remastered. It can be purchased for only 140 Gold from one of the many vendors. But of course, to learn it, you must reach the appropriate level in the Restoration school.
Is It Possible to Cure Vampirism in Oblivion Remastered?
Once you become a Vampire, you will have to go a long way to get rid of it. At the same time, the methods described above will not affect Vampirism in any way. However, if you are infected with Porphyric Hemophilia and have not yet fully turned into a Vampire, then the Cure Disease effect will rid you of it.
