It's time to get some running shoes on and go fast with an increase to Athletics, one of the many skills in Oblivion Remastered that players will want to level up first. Athletics is important, especially for players who want to get to places without the need to fast travel to every spot on the map.
Luckily, there are a few passive ways to increase Athletics fast, and trainers that players can use so that they can upgrade Athletics, enjoy the benefits, and immerse themselves further into the magical world of Oblivion Remastered.
How to Increase Athletics in Oblivion Remastered
Athletics can be increased by sprinting and swimming, but there are far faster ways to level up Athletics in Oblivion Remastered. Players will gain more Athletics XP if they swim, so it's important that players have the right tools to breathe underwater to begin this AFK XP exploit for Athletics. To start, grab the Fin Gleam helmet, which provides underwater breathing. The location for this item can be found below:
How To Get Fin Gleam (Underwater Breathing Helm) In Oblivion Remastered
Fin Gleam is a helm that players can use to breathe underwater in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Here’s how to find it.
With the Fin Gleam helmet (or if you are an Argonian), head to the Waterfront District of the Imperial City, where players can find The Bloated Float, which is a large ship on the east side. With the Fin Gleam helmet equipped, head to the front of the boat and swim forward at the rudder of the ship, where players will be swimming in place. It's important to make sure you are swimming and not passively hitting the wall, so players will want to be in third person to watch their arms and make sure they are doing a breaststroke. From here, players will want to stay in this spot and swim, and there are two ways to continue going forward without holding the controller:
- Place a rubber band or put the controller on a surface so the left stick is pushed up.
- On PC, hit the Q key to auto-move.
