There are so many poor souls in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered that are desperately seeking help, and the player is always rewarded with something valuable for helping them, though sometimes the value of the reward exceeds the difficulty of the job, while some other times it's just disappointing.

Where to find each Crusader's Relic armor piece in Oblivion Remastered's Knights of the Nine DLC.

When it comes to Whom Gods Annoy, the job itself is not a big deal, especially for a hardened warrior, but the reward that the player receives is well worth the errand. This is a quest coming from a lonely woman, who sees herself deep inside an unwanted problem.

Starting Whom Gods Annoy

This quest originates from Leyawiin, a city on the southeast of the map, next to Topol Bay. There are two methods to acquire the quest. The first and fastest way is to head to the house of Rosentia Gallenus in the city and talk to her. The other way is to talk about rumors with the city's guards and residents until one of them mentions Rosentia. With Rosentia's house marked on the map above, you have an easy path to kickstart the mission quickly.

Alves Mage - Oblivion Remastered

After talking to Rosentia, she will tell you how excessive curiosity has led him into big trouble. Then, she will ask the player to meet someone named Alves from the Mage's Guild in Leyawiin to find a way to lift the curse from her. Follow the marker and talk to Alves about the Daedric Staff.

Now, go back to Rosentia again, and tell her that you are ready to accept the Staff of the Everscamp. With this decision, the player will get the curse, and Rosentia will be free. Now, the player must return the staff to its original location, inside a shrine in Darkfathom Cave. The cave is marked on the map. It's located east of Leyawiin, beyond the river.

Head inside the cave and follow the straight path until you see a giant horn. Now, take a left and continue the path, following the marker on the compass. Keep in mind that you will face plenty of Stunted Scamps inside the cave, who shoot fire projectiles. The path will eventually lead you to the shrine, with a giant statue behind it.

In front of the statue, there is a stone with an Oblivion mark on it. Stand in front of the stone, open your inventory, and drop Staff of the Everscamp. The player is now free of the curse. So, exit the cave and meet Rosentia at her house. Speak with Rosentia to receive the Ring of Eidolon's Edge as the quest's reward.

The ring is worth 1,200 Gold coins, but it also gives +5 points to Fortify Block on Self and +5 points to Fortify Blade on Self. The ring is quite valuable for warriors and those who would rather fight their way through than talk.
