In The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom, players are given the opportunity to earn ten new sets with a suite of new, interesting bonuses. Typically, the strongest sets in ESO are those that come from Trials, as they are the only sets with Perfected bonuses in addition to the Full Set Bonus. In the Necrom Chapter for ESO, the Sanity's Edge Trial offers four new sets for players to build.
Trial sets are different than other sets because they are the only ones that require players to work together and achieve a common goal – for an MMO, Elder Scrolls Online is quite single-player friendly, but solo players will have a hard time getting these four sets on their own.
ESO Necrom Trial Sets & Perfected Sets
With the rest of the additions coming to ESO: Necrom comes a new Trial for players to tackle with a group of others. The new Necrom trial is called Sanity's Edge, and pieces to each of the four new Trial sets will drop from bosses throughout. Players can also take on a harder version of the Trial to get better versions of its gear.
By swapping to Veteran difficulty while in a party, Sanity's Edge becomes significantly harder, and really requires top-end gameplay from each party member to get through. Players' reward for getting through this challenge comes in the form of Perfected bonuses to gear that drops.
Perfected sets in ESO have all the same progressive bonuses that regular versions grant as players equip more pieces. However, in addition to the Full Set bonus, players wearing Perfected gear will also get another stat boost, typically one that repeats from earlier. This gear is considered some of the best in the game, aside from Mythics, so it's well worth the challenge of these harder Trials.
The trial set bonuses listed below are calculated based on a max-level character with at least 160 Champion Points, as ESO doesn't scale equipment beyond that level.
