With combat being such a key part of the equation in a survival game like Keen Games' Enshrouded, it is always important for players to have options when facing down foes of all kinds. Getting More Staff Charges in Enshrouded

There are two main ways players can obtain more staff charges to continue dealing magical damage to enemies found in the Shroud and beyond. The first is the most random, with the possibility of finding staff charges contained within chests and containers in the dungeons and the world.

This is more likely to happen with hidden chests that require more work to locate, such as in the different vaults where NPCs can be rescued. However, as this is entirely reliant on chance, it is not the most efficient way to enjoy the game as a magic-focused character.

Getting More Staff Charges in Enshrouded

The better way is to progress the game until the quest to rescue the Alchemist comes up. Proceed to the vault where this NPC is currently sleeping, deal with all the threats, and rescue him. Now summon him back to the base and check out his wares.

At the start, the Alchemist will be able to craft staff charges for Ice Bolt, Heal Channel, and the Fireball. In addition, he is also able to craft more powerful staffs to take advantage of these charges, and continuing down his quest line will unlock more options for those who like magic.

How to Use Staff Charges in Enshrouded

With the various staff charges now in the inventory, players must equip them to use them. Start by equipping the staff as your weapon of choice, and then place the different staff charges into the quick slots on your belt.

When combat occurs, select the required spell and use the ranged weapon hotkey (Q on the keyboard), and aim to fire off the spell. Being able to switch the spells at will brings flexibility to combat and allows players to control situations more easily.
