How to Get Shroud Sacks in Enshrouded

The only way that players will be able to get any Shroud Sacks in the game is through combat, but not just against the natural predators that roam about. Instead, the target of your aggression will have to be the more threatening foes that roam the Shroud, with the danger compounded by the timer that keeps ticking away while players are in the fog.

There are two enemy types that will drop this valuable item. Both the blue flower and red mushroom enemies that can be found in the Shroud are the best ways to gather a supply of Shroud Sacks. The blue flower enemies are easily found near the Alchemist Tower in the Springlands Ancient Spire region, while red mushrooms can be encountered in the Umber Hollow.

For the blue flowers, approach with caution, as they will bloom and start firing projectiles should you get too near. These can hurt quite a bit, so it is in players' best interests to dodge the initial volley and close the gap. Try to keep moving while attacking to avoid any more damage. Meanwhile, the red mushrooms are hard-hitting and quite agile for their size, making them much more challenging than the flower enemies. Upon detection, the red mushrooms will charge at the player, and start releasing poisonous fumes that are always a pain. Keep your distance as much as possible, and try to take down the enemy from range.

How to Use Shroud Sacks in Enshrouded

The gathered Shroud Sacks will play a pivotal role in some of the later recipes found in Enshrouded, but their more immediate use will come when players are looking to strengthen the Flame Altar, as doing so requires this material. Since strengthening the Altar is key to allowing players to build up more of their home base as well as increase their durability in the Shroud, it is imperative that players know exactly where to get Shroud Sacks and how to use them.
