Summary
- Reshala's spawn rate in Escape from Tarkov has been increased to 100%.
- The community shows overall approval of the spawn rate change.
- Some players have also confirmed Reshala's increase appears in PvE as well.
Battlestate Games, the developer behind Escape from Tarkov, has confirmed an increased spawn rate for one of the FPS’ bosses, teased in a recent social media image. The Escape from Tarkov community has been extremely vocal about certain changes it would like to see implemented into gameplay, and Battlestate seems to be taking these suggestions to the drawing board and bringing them steadily into fruition.
The tactical FPS initially launched its closed beta back in 2017, and gameplay takes place in the fictional Russian region of Norvinsk. Players can join raids and battle other players for loot, in an attempt to survive the war occurring between the United Security "USEC" and the Battle Encounter Assault Regiment "BEAR.” Escape from Tarkov received a console port update recently from Battlestate Games COO Nikita Buyanov, suggesting the game will remain a PC game only, much to the disappointment of PlayStation and Xbox owners.
Posted on the official Escape from Tarkov Twitter account, a photo was shared with the community showing a Polaroid of the boss, Reshala. The snapshot, hanging on a clothes peg in the developer’s usual fashion, also features a barcode in the corner with the word “Weekly.” The photo confirms Reshala has received an adjusted spawn rate, being increased to appear in every raid with a 100% spawn. Escape from Tarkov is one of the hardest extraction shooter games around, joining the likes of Hunt: Showdown, Forever Winter, and Helldivers 2, but the update will now make it easier for players to complete Reshala’s tasks.
Escape from Tarkov Increases Reshala's Spawn Rate to 100%
A majority of the player base applauded Reshala’s new spawn rate, and one fan suggested increasing a new boss’ spawn rate every week. Escape from Tarkov PvE players complained about limited-time events before, and a similar concern was aired concerning Reshala. Thankfully, the comments section noted that Reshala’s spawn increase was also added to PvE mode, and other players wanted to see Glukhar or Killa get the same treatment next.
The Escape from Tarkov devs have shared the shooter’s content roadmap, covering the April to December 2025 period, outlining five updates in the pipeline. The initial four patches will be released consecutively each month, with the last one being in August, and the fifth update is confirmed to be the anticipated launch of Version 1.0. No release date was given for the version, but going by the rest of the supplied roadmap, it is expected to launch sometime between September and December.
