With the release of the Deadlands DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online comes three Mythic-level item sets that can be acquired through a lengthy process of trial and effort and Scrying. The Markyn Ring of Majesty, a piece of jewelry with a powerful effect, is one of these three Mythic items.

The Markyn Ring of Majesty and its one-piece set bonus builds off of the player's ability to balance multiple armor sets at the same time. It appears to be a useful Mythic for just about any class, though its effectiveness is almost certainly restricted to DPS-oriented players in The Elder Scrolls Online.

Markyn Ring of Majesty Effects

The Markyn Ring of Majesty, like many Mythic item sets, only requires itself to activate its set bonus. When the player is wearing at least three pieces of an armor set, the Markyn Ring of Majesty gives them 100 Weapon and Spell damage and an additional 1157 Armor.

Notably, this effect stacks, meaning that if the player has two sets equipped with at least three pieces, or three sets with three pieces equipped, alongside the ring they will get double or triple these bonuses respectively. This stat boost is tracked in the description for the Ring. Because Monster sets and other Mythics have less than three pieces in the set total, they won't proc this Ring.

How To Get the Markyn Ring of Majesty

Elder Scrolls Online Deadlands Mythic Item Scrying Antiquities

All three Mythic items in the Deadlands DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online are found through the Antiquities system first introduced back in the Greymoor expansion. Because of the high quality of these Mythic items, they are only available for Master-level Scryers to put together.

By following five Leads and uncovering these five fragments players are able to combine them into the Markyn Ring of Majesty. Be patient when Scrying these Antiquities, as Master-level Scrying can take several attempts before narrowing down on a select few excavation sites, cutting down significantly on time spent wandering from potential spot to potential spot.

Associated Leads

There are five associated Leads with the Markyn Ring of Majesty. These Leads can be found throughout the Deadlands and Fargrave, though the specifics of their locations are still being discovered as the DLC rolls out.

  • Mindcleaver Loop
  • Ruinblood Coil
  • Firescourge Band
  • Searing Gem
  • Morpholith Shank

If previous years are anything to go by, these Leads will likely be found in Deadlands Dungeons, Delves, the Overland, and on Boss enemies (like World Bosses or the new Wandering Executioners) throughout the zone. Keep an eye out for these five Leads, make sure your Scrying skill is up to par, and get a head start on putting together this Mythic ring.
