Infamous is an action-adventure series that was first created by Sucker Punch Productions and Published by Sony Entertain on the PlayStation 3 in 2009. This game followed the character, Cole MacGrath. After finding himself in the center of an explosion that wiped out several city blocks, Cole wakes up with some newly discovered electricity powers.
Becoming quite the shift from the developer's original series of Sly Cooper, players are free to explore the grungy fictional city known as Empire City as they encounter various scenarios that force them to either be good or bad. These choices add up through the Karma System which can then define the ending of the game. There have been numerous Infamous games over the years and not all of them follow Cole; this is every Infamous game ranked.
6 Infamous: Precinct Assault
Releasing alongside the first Infamous title, Infamous: Precinct Assault was a flash game that could be first played on the original Infamous website. It was completely free and allowed players to control Cole MacGrath as they attempted to beat their high score in this 2D sidescroller. However, it wasn't all jumping and running in Infamous: Precinct Assault as players could also use the delivery biker's powers to defeat the foes ahead of them.
While this may not be a whole game it was greatly successful in attracting players to try the actual Infamous title on the PlayStation 3. Infamous: Precinct Assault may not be an awful little mini-game for players to enjoy, but it is still the least loved out of those available; especially as some players don't even remember it.
5 Infamous: First Light
Infamous: First Light is a prequel to the events that happen in Infamous: Second Son. In this title, players are left to control Abigail 'Fetch' Walker, a woman who had a supporting role in Infamous: Second Son. She is considered a conduit, like many other characters in the Infamous games due to her incredible powers.
8 Franchises That Have Surprisingly Never Had A Remastered Collection
Despite the fan acclaim of these titles, these games have still yet to have a remastered collection.
Like Cole MacGrath or Delsin Rowe who also have powers, Fetch uses the power of Neon to defeat the enemies she faces in First Light. In this title, players find out what happened to Fetch before Delsin meets her in Infamous: Second Son, which also gives players further context of the world they were playing in not to mention the first female protagonist of the series.
4 Infamous: Festival Of Blood
Not every game in the Infamous series is canon to its events. Infamous: Festival of Blood, is a spin-off spoof of the series where the friend of Cole called Zeke Dunbar tells the story of Cole becoming a vampire. Obviously, this isn't what happened to Cole, but it still made an interesting adventure for players to be a part of. Another thing that was different from the other games in the series, was that players no longer had the good or evil choice to alter their Karma.
This was to help the linear storytelling of Cole becoming more of a vampire as he was forced to feed on innocent civilians to survive. Although it wasn't connected to the actual Infamous storyline players still enjoyed their time with this new Cole MacGrath and his new powers to boot.

8 Forgotten Open-World Games That Were Very Popular
Open-world games bring players a variety of activities in a beautiful setting, but not all of them stick around, some are forgotten.
Introduced to a new city, many players felt that New Marais was a much livelier city than Empire City, with plenty more to explore and do. While the ending of Infamous felt like a fitting conclusion to the title for some, many were still thrilled to see Infamous: Second Son be released on PlayStation 4, or the entertaining gothic tale of Infamous: Festival of Blood.
1 Infamous
Unsurprisingly, one of the greatest Infamous games out of the entire series is the first one to be released in 2009. This is the title that hooked many into playing the action-adventure title and it continued to be successful for many years later. As mentioned, in this game players are introduced to the main protagonist Cole MacGrath, and how he obtained his powers.
Players are then left to experience his story of coming to terms with how he can harness electricity and what he will do with it. Back then players adored the Karma system and enjoyed how their choices could see them going down two different paths which also determined what special abilities Cole had.
