New Nintendo Switch Online Game Boy Advance Games Coming October 11
- F-Zero GP Legend
- F-Zero Climax
F-Zero GP Legend was released on the Game Boy Advance in 2003 as a tie-in for the anime series of the same name, and tasked players with defeating the evil Zoda and the criminal Dark Million organization through high-octane, futuristic races. A year later, Nintendo released a sequel titled F-Zero Climax, though it was only available in Japan until this recent Nintendo Switch Online announcement. It was also the last F-Zero game to be produced until 2023’s F-Zero 99.
Speaking of F-Zero 99, the retro-style battle royale racer is also getting a free update that adds five new courses based on the Japan-exclusive Satellaview version of the original F-Zero. Fans have remained hopeful for a brand-new mainline F-Zero game, with F-Zero GX producer Toshihiro Nagoshi even expressing interest in such a project. In the meantime, players can still race their way through some of the series’ memorable handheld offerings thanks to Nintendo Switch Online.
