F1 25's Braking Point 3 Explained

F1 25's Braking Point continuation will pick up from the previous chapters in this ongoing storyline. The Braking Point story began in F1 2021, with the fictional Konnersport having progressed through the ranks to being championship contenders in the latest F1 25. This third chapter will grant players new ways of interacting with the game's plot, manifesting in new ways to influence the linear narrative.

Braking Point 3 Will Have Players Fight For The Championship

In the next chapter of Braking Point, the Konnersport team will finally get their chance at the championship. The upcoming F1 25 will challenge this fictional team like never before, and players will have to contend with the mode's highest stakes yet. Moreover, the devs behind this installment of Braking Point have been promising a major shake-up; a huge event will hit the team early into the mode's story, and players will have to deal with the outcome of a situation that throws the Konnersport crew right into tumult.

On a note with fewer stakes, the next F1 game will also be bringing its array of presentation updates into Braking Point 3. The mode's 'Meet the Press' segments will be updated to be more authentic, properly resembling the way press interviews are seen on TV. Furthermore, facial animations will also be getting a makeover for Braking Point 3. NVIDIA's Audio2Face technology has been utilized throughout Braking Point 3 to enhance its facial animations, delivering more realism and a more extensive output of expressions. In addition, the facility heads being introduced to the My Teams mode will also benefit from this Audio2Face technology.

The Next Chapter Of Braking Point Will Give Players More Choice

Compared to other games in the F1 series, Braking Point 3 will allow for greater agency. The mode has always been intended as a linear, tightly-scripted narrative. However, Braking Point 3 will be more liberal in allowing for player input, allowing fans to choose which driver they take on during pivotal moments. This decision will change the objectives and narrative elements throughout play, forcing the character chosen to go through both gameplay trials and the rigmarole of phone calls, post-race interactions, and media parley. Moreover, players will also have more choice in the mode's difficulty level. Fans will be able to choose from 4 different difficulty levels, as opposed to just 3.

In addition, Braking Point 3 will transition more easily into Career Mode. Konnersport will be available in Career Mode for the first time, and fans will be able to manage the team in tandem with the multiple overhauls to Career Mode in F1 25, such as the new ownership model. Players that complete Braking Point 3 will be prompted to consider creating a Konnersport story that is fully their own, and will be shown Career Mode as the optimal way of doing so.
