Some of these members aren’t as strong, and Fairy Tail has its fair share of weaklings. Ranking some of these weaker characters doesn’t necessarily make them useless, but it's hard to ignore how weak they are relative to the other members of the guild.

11 Macao Conbolt

The Weakest Fairy Tail Master

Macao Conbolt is a veteran member of the Fairy Tail guild and also served as its fourth master after the disappearance of a large chunk of guild mates on Tenrou Island. While he did his best to hold the fort, he was ultimately too weak to reestablish Fairy Tail as a top guild.

He is the father of Romeo and uses Purple Flare magic, which is a sort of fire magic but with only purple flames. He’s a great guy; he's just not a particularly strong character when compared to others in the Fairy Tail guild.

10 Wakaba Mine

Has Access To An Interesting Form Of Magic But Doesn't Use It To Its Full Potential

Wakaba, like Macao, is also a veteran of the Fairy Tail guild and has been a member since his youth. He also served as an adviser to Macao when the latter was guild master.

Wakaba uses smoke magic, which he is able to manipulate in a number of ways. Clearly, it isn’t powerful enough, and it seems it wasn’t meant to be considering how Smoke magic was used in other anime like with Smoker in One Piece.

9 Bisca Connell

Strong On Paper But Weak When Compared To Others

Bisca is a sharpshooter and the wife of Alzack. The two are always together, and the fact that they got married and have a daughter is not altogether surprising. Bisca is a kind soul who started out roughly until an encounter with Erza changed her life.

She, like Erza, uses requip magic, which allows her to use various magical guns that she can call on at any time. Her magic is pretty reliable, as it can be used at any time and can provide some situational benefits. Of the minor Fairy Tail characters, she is perhaps one of the strongest, but she is still quite weak when compared to the guild's more notable members.

Alzack came into Magnolia as an immigrant and found a home in Fairy Tail where he built a life, including marrying his wife, Bisca, and having a daughter, Asuka.

Alzack uses magic similar to Bisca in that they both use guns; however, unlike Asuka, who uses requip magic, Alzack uses the same guns but loads them with magic bullets, and when he fires them, he never misses. Sure, he’s stronger than the average mage, but in a guild like Fairy Tail, with its members having access to powerful abilities, he falls on the weaker side of the scale.

7 Warren Rocko

Has A Powerful Ability But Little Combat Potential

Warren is a stalwart of the Fairy Tail guild. His ability allows him to communicate with others telepathically. He is able to read his opponent’s mind to know what they will do next and is able to converse with various guild members all around. He can also facilitate communication with his telepathy, meaning that others can talk to one another using his power.

As useful as this ability is, it doesn’t have much combat potential, and Warren isn’t much of a martial artist either. This means that he isn’t able to really take on opponents and win battles.

6 Laki Olietta

Always There But Hardly Ever Noticed Or Developed

Laki is one of those Fairy Tail characters who are always around, but she doesn’t get noticed that much. She has been with the guild from the very beginning and has just as many ties as with some of the top mages in the guild.

She uses wood-make magic, which is similar to Gray’s magic but with wood. It is a useful ability for building and even has some combat potential, but Laki isn’t very strong, and there are very few wins for her in the entire series.

5 Vijeeter Ecor

Lots Of Flash But Very Little Substance

Vijeeter is a support-like mage with abilities that are designed to make his allies better. He essentially buffs his allies with increased attack and reduces the power of his opponents.

While that sounds great, it has severe limitations. For one, he activates his abilities by dancing, which seems wildly inconvenient. Worse still, his ability is only effective within a 10-meter radius, which is not a very long range. Vijeeter is acrobatic, but he doesn’t pack enough of a punch to really make a dent as a Fairy Tail mage.

4 Reedus Jonah

His Ability Has Too Many Drawbacks

Reedus is another veteran of the guild, having been there since Natsu’s childhood. Reedus’ shy personality already doesn’t help his ability as a fighter, as he prefers to stay on his own.

Reedus’ ability allows him to manifest what he draws on the battlefield. This is a pretty cool ability, and the fact that he has improved on it from before when he could only manifest drawings that were drawn on his body is impressive. That said, the ability is slow, as Reedus needs to finish drawing to manifest allies. This would be terrible when facing up against stronger opponents that can attack immediately.

3 Jet

A Pure Speedster Who Lacks The Required Combat Capabilities

Jet is a member of the Shadow Gear team in Fairy Tail, which consists of Levi and Droy. Levy is the strongest of the three members, as her script magic has a lot of versatility, and she can use it pretty well.

As for Jet, as his name implies, he is a speedster, and his entire gimmick lies in his speed. But, with nothing else to add to his arsenal, he is relatively weak. He doesn’t have much combat capabilities, and this means he loses most fights.

2 Droy

The Other Shadow Gear Lackey

Droy has been friends with Jet and Levy since they were all kids. They joined Fairy Tail together and have been on a number of adventures. His team, the Shadow Gear team, was the one that really kicked off the battle with Phantom Lord.

Droy uses plant magic, which again, is powerful on paper, but he doesn’t seem to use it with the requisite skill to make it as dangerous as it could be. He and Jet do their best for the guild, but they are also some of its weakest members.
