Schedule 1 – Drug Dealer is the latest copycat game taking advantage of the lack of an official Schedule 1 port on PlayStation. A hit title from a solo developer on Steam, Schedule 1 has been one of the best-selling games of 2025, which seems to have prompted many clones to appear on other storefronts.
Almost immediately after launch, solo developer Tyler's drug dealer simulator on Steam attracted hundreds of thousands of players. At its peak, the game had nearly 460,000 concurrent players, putting it on par with some of Steam's most-played AAA games, such as Call of Duty: Warzone. By May 2025, Schedule 1 reportedly sold over 8 million copies, generating around $125 million in revenue. All of this, of course, came from Steam sales, and the developer has revealed no plans to bring the game to home consoles or mobile devices.

PlayStation Users Warned About $13 Schedule 1 Copycat
Taking advantage of Schedule 1's Steam exclusivity, scammers have tried to profit by releasing shovelware clones on other platforms, particularly the PlayStation Store. The latest attempt is Schedule 1 – Drug Dealer, a $13 game that appeared on Sony's storefront in August. It uses artwork that closely mimics the original game's style, likely misleading some users into thinking it's an official port. As of now, the copycat has over 450 reviews on the PlayStation Store, with an average score of just 1.33.
PlayStation users should know that Schedule 1 – Drug Dealer isn't the only copycat of Tyler's drug dealer simulator on the platform. A quick search for "Schedule 1" on the PlayStation Store brings up several other shovelware clones, including Schedule 1: Dope Empire. While Dope Empire uses a slightly different art style, it still comes across as a poor imitation of Schedule 1, and over 2,000 users have given it low review scores. Unfortunately, this trend of cloning successful games doesn't seem to be slowing down, so fans need to be extra careful with their purchases.
It's worth noting that Schedule 1 was also called a knock-off game by some critics when it first launched. Many argued it borrowed heavily from Drug Dealer Simulator, which was released nearly half a decade earlier. Even if that claim holds weight, Schedule 1 has seen far greater success than DDS, making it one of those rare copycat games that surpass the original. As of September 2025, the game has received over 200,000 reviews on Steam, with nearly 98% being positive. It has also built a loyal fanbase, averaging around 30,000 concurrent players each day.
