However, changing your Fall Guys name can be frustrating if you've logged in with an existing account or are connected to your console account. This is because there’s no in-game option to do so. The following guide offers a couple of workarounds to help you change your name as often as you like.

With the recent release on Android and iOS, this guide has been revisited to include every method and workaround for changing character titles. Additionally, we've removed outdated information about tricks that allowed customization of name color, font, and size, as those have all been patched out.

How To Change Your Fall Guys Name On PC & Mobile

Go to Epic Games' official website.
Sign in to your account. (This should be the same account you use to play Fall Guys.)
Click your profile in the top-right corner and select Account.
Under the Account Settings tab, click the edit button next to your Display Name.
Enter the new username/display name and click Confirm. (You must toggle on the checkbox above the Confirm button first.)
Re-launch the game to see the changes.

You can rename your Epic Games display name once every 14 days.

Currently, there’s no in-game feature to change your username. Therefore, you must use a workaround, which involves renaming your Epic Games account so your username in Fall Guys changes (this method works for PC and mobile players).

Since Fall Guys Mobile supports cross-progression, if you log in using an existing Epic Games account, your username won't be randomly generated. It will remain the same as it was before.

How To Change Your Fall Guys Name On The Console

PS4 and PS5: Change your PSN ID. Sign in to Account Management and choose a new nickname under the Profile tab.
Xbox: Change your Gamertag. Go to Profile & System, select My Profile, open the Customize Profile tab, and enter your new nickname.
Nintendo: Change your Switch nickname. Head to the Nintendo Account website, sign in, click “User Information,” and rename your account under the “Profile” tab.

Fall Guys fetches the player’s account ID on consoles to display as the in-game title. To change that, players will have to rename their PSN, Xbox, or Nintendo account nicknames.

Why Your Display Name Is Random In Fall Guys

If your Fall Guys name is randomly generated, you are using a “Nameless Epic Games Account.” Nameless accounts are guest profiles for players who haven’t linked any verified Epic Games account to their game. To fix this, you will need to create an Epic Games account and verify it.

Will Changing Epic Games ID For Fall Guys Affect Other Games?

If you rename your Fall Guys profile from the Epic Games website, your in-game display name will be updated across all other Epic Games titles. The same is true for PSN IDs, Gamertags, and Nintendo nicknames; if you change them, they will be altered in all other games.

Changing your nickname won’t affect your Epic Games ID. You can share this ID with your friends instead of your display name so they can always find you no matter how many times you rename your account.
