What Is The Piggyback Feature In Fall Guys?
Piggyback is a social feature in Fall Guys that allows you to carry another player on your back. Introduced with the Fall Forever update in April 2024, this feature is part of the new gameplay changes. Piggybacking requires mutual agreement between two players. You can only pick up or be carried by another player if both parties have accepted the request.
Piggyback was introduced alongside a few other new gameplay features, like the Phrase and Emote Wheel, added with the May 2024 update. However, it was the only feature that did not face major backlash. Most other Fall Forever additions were labeled game-breaking by the community.
How Do You Do A Piggyback In Fall Guys?
On PlayStation and Xbox, you can request or accept a Piggyback by pressing up on the D-pad. On PC, you’ll need to press the 'H' key. Mobile users, however, simply need to tap the dedicated Piggyback button located in the top-right corner of the screen (look for the icon showing two Beans).

Your Piggyback request is automatically removed when you grab and dive or get knocked out.
You can change the Piggyback button by going to the settings and rearranging the key binds. (If you’re not planning to use it often, set it on a button you rarely press.)
When you request a Piggyback, a pinkish icon pops up on your head. When you’re eligible to accept another player’s Piggyback request, the same icon will appear, but it will turn blue.

How Do You Cancel A Piggyback In Fall Guys?
Pressing the Piggyback button while carrying someone or being carried by others will cancel the mode. You also drop your piggybacked partner whenever you use power-ups. However, you can still grab items and throw stuff without losing the bond with the player you’re carrying.
Both players involved in a Piggyback can cancel it anytime they want.
While Piggybacking another player, Emotes become unavailable. However, you will still be able to use the Phrase Wheel.
